This channel contains video of the preaching and teaching ministry of the Rev. Dr. Frank A. Thomas. The call on Dr. Thomas' life is to preach and teach the gospel in relevant and creative sermonic forms. You will be blessed and encouraged by the profound, challenging, and spiritually insightful word of Dr. Thomas
Dr. Thomas, you were interviewed by Dr. Gina Stewart, which was great, but you have so much more to share. Please find a way for us to hear more of your experiences and wisdom. I appreciate your leadership and all that you do.
Thanks Dr. Frank for inviting Rev Dr. Charles Goodman, Jr. I've been watching him for the last two weeks and being on his page, this popped up. He's a great Teacher! I am a former believer of Christ in the kingdom who has fallen out of my relationship with Christ. I have repented and been redeemed, and I've been all over RU-vid trying to find someone who can teach and break down these stories in the bible. Mr. Goodman has been such a blessing to my life! I thank you two Black Men for having this channel for us in the kingdom. I'm a young woman and having God's structure has always been profound to have in anyone's life. Thanks again!! Coming from Little Rock, Arkansas.
Thank you, Rev. Dr. Frank Thomas for advocating and speaking up for us as a womanist ally. I wonder if (and how) the people who shared their responses to this episode have changed since Rev. Dr. Gina Stewart's "I'm Gon' Be Like Claudia" message hit earlier this year. I wonder if (and how) the people who shared their responses to this episode consider the latest news that has surfaced about some of the biggest mega church pastors in Dallas, TX. The oppression of Black women by our own people who weaponize the Bible to justify their own misogyny is still pervasive in the Black church. The Gospel that Jesus preached was a liberative, emancipatory Gospel. Perhaps the freedom of Jesus' message about the Kingdom of God interrogates our beliefs and identities more than we want to confess. Again, thank you for raising your voice.
I read, BISHOP FORD preached the EULOGY of Emmett Till. He is the 13yr old Black teen who was murdered by white men in MONEY MISSISSIPPI and his remains theown into the TALLAHASSEE RIVER. HIS APPEARANCE WAS DESTROYED BY THE ELEMENTS, YET SIS MAMIE TILL, HIS MOTHER INSISTED ON A OPEN CASKETED FUNERAL SERVICE, WITH VIEWING OF HIS FACE!!
Dr. Thomas this was very beautiful conversation and was the first time you were able to talk a lot about your journey and much of what you shared really resonated with me. I appreciate your journey and your candor in giving to us a window into your motivations . I also appreciated your transparency in discussing your wrestling with your leaning towards the intellectual approach to ministry while so much of the Black preaching tradition has centered around other elements germane to the uniqueness of the Black experience in America. These interviews are very helpful. Keep them coming!
What a beautiful interview! It was tender, informative and inspiring. Thank you for sharing I have been changed just from listening to it and I believe my preaching will be impacted from it too. God bless you both 🙏🏽
Pastor Frank I think you are an effective listener and your interviews are a wonderful intersection of your journey and your guests! I see the sovereignty and provision of God in hearing both sides! Continue to engage us!
Would love to unpack the discussion on the Black Pentecostal preaching tradition, which I believe is ripe for research and discussion. This tradition gets lost many times both when discussing preaching at large and black preaching!
Dr. Thomas... just a question... Is Rev. Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil on your list of great proclaimers to be interviewed in the future? Just wondering! Thanks so much for your ministry! I have learned much from you and your distinguished guests.☺
Rev. Fomby is a force to be reckoned with and God is using her and the other preachers of the Gospel mightily during these times. God bless her and keep her and all the people of God! Blessings, -Bryan

I love this brother here. I had the privilege of hearing him a few months ago at Trinity Baptist Church Columbia, sc. Where i am an associate rev. And i am a lover of the gospel and anytime you can come across 2 preachers like yourselves (the unadulterated gospel), its an honor. I might have to find that week and listen to it again. Its been great to have known of you guys.
Thank you Dr. Thomas! Dr. Freddie Haynes preaches in a way where you want to remain open to what God has for experiences, but then communicates the benefits of capturing it all.
