Thank you for uploading this. The same piece but with the concert video has been taken down all over the site, and I very much missed having the ability to listen to this specific performance.
Of all the music that I have listened to on RU-vid over the years, this is the piece I have listened to the most. I’ve heard many other performers play this piece, but this is my absolute favorite. It relaxes me in ways that nothing else does.
Esta belleza tiene el poder de transportarme al paraiso....me sumerjo en un mundo en donde todo es dulzura y felicidad. Gracias Karunesh...eres mi adiccion
I am aware that I am quite late at this party, but let me make my entrance anyway. It is very spectacular, if not sensational, to compare this performance by 28 year old Chang with that of the 10 year old: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G7ug2a82p_o.html The difference being that between the subconscious despair of a child and the more or less conscious anguish of an adult! The child in me favors the 10 year old performance, but the gentleman I have become is delighted with the more mature interpretation. Yet, I do not underestimate the almost shy humbleness of the child and still love that performance very much as well! Miss Chang's playing has become very passionate, so much so, that I am reminded of Maxim Vengerov, being Russian. I think him the greater violinist but Chang is almost at a similar level, be it that I find her interpretations slightly less convincing than those of Vengerov; passion can sometimes be used as masking insecurity on a very deep, existential level. Let me leave it at that.
I need music to process my emotions. My dog was put down today. I don't expect those who've never had a dog to understand. Dogs are utterly innocent, their love is unconditional, their companionship is pure. Rest peacefully, my darling boy.
my heart breaks for you, went thru similar loss last year and still not over it. Have adopted many dogs in past 20yrs but for now happy to have my 2 rescue cats and at my age my just stick with helping cats. One quote that helps me sometimes is "don't cry because its over, smile because it happened"
