I honestly empathise with Rosa here. A child was thrust upon her when she obviously wasn't emotionally ready for one, she was abandoned by the man she loved and trusted, and the demanding nature and stigma of being a single parent prevented her from carrying on with her life and pursuing a new love. On top of that, Maria is a weird child with behavioural issues and no friends, and the "otherness" of her daughter becomes even more of a mental tax on Rosa. I can definitely understand her resentment towards Maria. Of course none of this is Maria's fault, and it doesn't justify Rosa's abuse and neglect, but it's just a really unfortunate situation for both mother and daughter. Really the best thing Rosa could've done was put Maria up for adoption as a baby, or else have someone else take custody of her until Rosa was in a better place mentally and financially.
Finally, after all this time, I have finally completed the long journey known as Umineko on August 8, 2024. I will never experience another story as wild as this one ever again. Never have I experienced a story as crazy, creative, and emotional as Umineko. 全部ありがとう、竜騎士先生！🫡
Couldn't they have used Kinzo as a suspect because there was a chance that he was out somewhere on the island? He doesn't have an alibi too and we aren't sure of his death
I like it when people are nice to Natsuhi Also, holy shit, didn't think it would get me close to tears this early on, the music and the VAs are just fantastic, they really sell you on the feeling
What an depressing ending, belive that you are the only survivor of your family. Not only that, you got cancer and meeting you brother who sadly not being himself anymore
the date with shannon and george is really cute, but making me a little sad. it makes me remember going on dates like that with someone im not involved with anymore
29/07/2024 After days spent at the edge of my seat reading this wild ride of a story, I can finally breathe out as the tears flow. I'm extremely grateful for Umineko and everything that this read through possible and can only hope that many others will experience it too someday. There's something about the way this episode ended that makes me feel... uncomfortable. Ominous, even. The adults being hot on the epitaph's answers doesn't help that feeling either.
If Battler came back one year before or after, the murders would not have happened... I imagine this is because that's the year George proposed to Shannon.
im at the beginning of this video, but so far I've really come to like natsuhi. shes a product of her circumstances but still seems to try the all she can to do something good with her life and give it purpose. and i think that's admirable, to be so selfless... something tells me later developments might make me change my mind though...
