Top review, very thorough. Just ordered one. Thanks and keep it up. Deffo need to half the music volume though. Sounds like a 1970’s porno and harder to focus on narration 😂
Okay, hi! What I need to know is does it actually cool the room? Does it different from normal fans that end up making the room warmer by blowing the hot air around? Can it be compared to air conditioning?
Outlaw answered this one, it in itself is not an air conditioner, placing it in front of a cooler source of air so it can suck it in and push it around the room is a great idea though! It has some really good air flow and intake, and the cone of air it creates is really good for some targeted cooling, or you can use its oscillation features to move it all around the room. Hope this helps!

If i disconnect it from power and reconnect it again, will it automatically start blowing in the same settings as it was when I cut off power, or do I have to manually start again?
Got on last week when it was quite warm weather, really good fan and is very quiet, expensive but looks good, also have the Maeco Arete dehumidifier, quality of their products is brilliant
Hello! Its not mentioned in the video as we don't have the tools to effectively show it on camera... yet :( however after doing some digging in spec sheets, the unit will use a maximum of 1300W per hour and runs at a maximum of 65dB, this depends on the modes you are using, but those should be the maximums for you Hope that helps!
Can you please compare this one to the Duux Whisper Flex Smart? Currently deciding between these two. Your Meace review has really helped, but now I'm unsure :D
Hello! 1. Before you do anything, make sure your Router is set to its 2.4gHz band, especially if you don't have a dual band router, this can solve a few connection issues. 2. Check the Wi-Fi symbol on the unit is flashing, if not, Press and hold the timer button for 5 seconds and the LED should start to flash. 3. Then once you have downloaded the app, tap the Blue + button in the top right, the app should search for the Unit straight away and appear on screen. If not, select "Large Home Appliances" from the Manual section, and tap on "Air Conditioner (Wi-Fi) and follow the on screen instructions. This should get your connected to the unit in the Smart Life App, you might have to try a few times, if you do, unplug the unit at the wall and wait 10+ seconds between each attempt to make sure the unit is fully reset. Hope this helps! Good luck!
I have a few questions please: 1: Regarding the refridgerent, does it run out and have to be re-charged like with cars? if so, what is the length of time you would expect to get before it ran out and can it easily be recharged? 2: If you only use the unit as an AC and do not use the De-H settings, do you still need to drain it/fit the draining pipe? Thanks.
Hello, thanks for the message! I will do my best to answer your queries. 1. Generally speaking it should last the units lifetime, the systems in portable AC units are closed loops, so assuming that no leaks develop over its lifetime then the refrigerant would last until you changed units. The typical lifetime is around 10 years, but different use cases and circumstances can raise or lower that number, should you notice a drop in cooling or other abnormalities then you should contact a qualified HVAC engineer. 2. No you wont need to have it fitted. The units are self evaporating, meaning when in AC mode they use any water they do intake from the air to cool their own coils. So you shouldn't need to us the hose, we do recommend you regularly clean the unit though (about once a month), which includes the filters on the back and draining any excess water, pop a towel down or something to catch any water and open the bungs, give them a wipe and you are good to go! Hope this helped, feel free to ask anything else and I will do my best to answer!
Do you know where I can buy a replacement hose and valve? Online I can only find extension kits (connecting two hoses together), but I cannot find a hose that fits directly onto the unit itself.
Hello! Unfortunately we don't sell the replacement hose and its valve, (I assume you mean the exhaust hose connector? which connects the hose to the unit) However it does look like you can buy some universal "Exhaust Hose Connector Kits" on Amazon, which include a number of different types of connectors, bundle that with an Exhaust Hose should do the trick. It also might be worth directly contacting Honeywell to see if they have a parts department or anything they can send you Sorry I couldn't help more

Can I set over Wi-Fi in my home and then take the unit to my garage (where there is no Wi-Fi)? Will the unit “remember” my timer settings or does it have to be connected to WiFi at all times? Thanks.
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you're talking about the scheduling feature, which is only accessible via the app over wi-fi and to the best of our knowledge wouldn't remember the schedule if unable to access wi-fi. There is however the 24hr timer that can be set directly on the machine.
@@AirConCentreUK thanks for your reply. So could the 24hr timer be set to come on and turn off? A lot of the units I’ve researched can only do one or the other. Thanks.
🤔 Hm... tough question considering the 1056 is still a really great fan. The Sefte is Meaco's most powerful, quiet, and energy efficient fan yet - but the 1056 isn't *too* far behind on most of those metrics. The largest distinction is being able to adjust the height of the pedestal version of the Sefte, and the greater maximum vertical and horizontal oscillation on both Sefte models. Other than that, it may depend if you prefer the design of the Seftes to the 1056, or think the lower price point of the 1056 is more attractive. Generally though, we do agree with Meaco that it's the 1056 but better.
Hm... 🤔 They're both great options, really. The 1056 fans are still solid choices in their own right, but the Sefte range are Meaco's most powerful, quietest, and most energy efficient air circulator fans yet. The Sefte Pedestal is also height-adjustable, meaning with the two additional columns provided you can take it from tabletop fan height all the way to proper pedestal fan height.
@@AirConCentreUK Does it make any crackling sounds in the plastic when it oscillate? I have three Duux Ultimate and they all crackle in the plastic when they oscillate vertically.
Honeywell makes the Power & Thermal Management System (PTMS) for the F-35 but they can't put 2 tubes in this damn thing Well this thing isn't $90 million so I guess they had to cut costs somewhere
Total stupid Design Why dose it not have 2 tubes... To save a little bit of money? Now it cools the air in the room and than passes it over it's heat exchanger heats it up and blows it out. Through other leakage spots you pull in new fresh hot air from outside. Total waste of energy! Better systems use a second hose to pull hot air from outside and pass that over there heat exchanger heating it up a bit more but it keeps all the cold air inside. Not pulling in unconditional outside air in the room. Only downside is that the heat pump needs to work under a higher delta t but whole system efficiency is way better.
Yes! I had a 1 hose portable AC, and it was a big mistake. It cools one room at the expense of every other room in your home getting hotter. Terrible idea. Even at the lowest setting it would noticeably pull warm air into your home. I then got a 2 hose portable AC and it works MUCH better.
