Dude and I will not call anything else until the Lord reveals to me that your other than that your baby minister want to be because you’re bad mouthing a youth minister and you’re doing the same thing as him so go look at the mirror and point yourself because on this program only dead but a minute and that was all your young ministers are coming up at disrespect the older minister that been through way more than what you’ve been through. Yes, you’ve been through a small amount to get your taste buds wet just a little bit. here’s what comes to me. Why don’t you call that Little bit, but nothing at the old ministers have been through and you’re just like this generation who want to throw the old ministers out the door and your congregations bag for it and then you wonder why a few years later you’re closing the doors up because the first sign of the doors don’t tell me you didn’t shut the doors During COVID-19. No, there’s what you did. You go apologize to the minister down the road that you badmouth on the show and every other minister that you’re referring to. You’re the type that gets rid of the hymns books you might have a Bible sitting in a bookcase all your stuff is on your tablet and without the Internet you couldn’t function with dying so apologize to the old soon very soon or something very big coming to United States. That’s gonna make Covid 19 look like a walk in the park have a great day.🕶️

This is all nice but extremely centered around planting in United States with a core team of already believers. This is not going to be helpful to those of us seeking to start churches organically from new converts and with out a core team of people but boot strapping it from zero
I'm thankful for your willingness to touch on this subject. However, it feels more like "7 Tips to Starting a Business" - The last thing the world needs is another rich, shell church. This really feels like the focus is quantity over quality, which is opposite from what most other advice that I've found on the topic. I know that you would likely deny that as being the aim of the video, but of all the advice out there, why choose only the advice that focuses on finance and attendance numbers? The only 3 tips I found sound were planning out ministry focus topics, continuing to seek help and mentoring for the plant even if it is outside the church, and consider working with or even merging with like-minded ministries - though all 3 of these are best practices for church ministry in general and not specific to church planting.
Regarding your comments- reading off the reasons as to why people are leaving. One standing out to me were the comments that said sexual freedoms being limited/hindered (not the exact verbage). They are looking for sin to be condoned! They want Christians to say its okay. But the bible doesn't say that! So now we see denominations holding votes to stay with a certain confessional stance. Revelation warns what will happen to churches that will condone sin and allow for it to be exercised within its congregants. Disappointing that these men didn't delve into these! As someone who has been harmed by evangelical pastors, i go to church because God commands his followers to not forsake the gathering. This means you'll run into false believers within church because Christ has not separated the weeds from the true crop yet! Disappointing to hear pastors not touch on the gospel and the true believer's duty to make propper disciples. Most western churches are weak in their theology- which is why i think reformed theology is making a comeback.

It is encouraging to hear that 100% of people are willing to return to the church. I am seeing younger families searching for a church community for their children and prioritizing church. I live in an inner city in Massachusetts, so this is very encouraging for us. We started monthly Fellowship Meals three months ago and almost everyone stays after the service to eat and have fellowship with others.
You can go to all the mega churches you probably won't find God's people. 501c3 corporate megachurch does as they are commanded by government and or other entity, and not Jesus Christ. Truth!
The best thing a small church can do is never look to a big church at to what they are doing. Small churches have much more freedom to follow the New Testament model of church.
Thank you guys for this. I feel the lord leading our family in this direction and my wife and I are praying and seeking the lord over it. I’ve been a worship leader for 20 years along with some youth pastoring, and it’s just become too much of a burden in my spirit I can no longer ignore. Dear brothers in Christ - I commend you on being creative + thinking of varied ideas to outreach to your communities. I think we need to be cautious in thinking of ideas that seem maybe really good ideas, yet not God ideas that are not inspired + led by the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is not included, it's all in vain. I suggest you corporately pray + intercede in asking our Heavenly Father - thru the power of the Holy Spirit - in the Name of Jesus, what His plan is for your community, He knows best their needs. Corporate prayer in agreement is powerfully effective. Even hold the Lord to His promise of - that He provide all their/your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Pray + wait upon the Lord, + ask Him to train their/your spiritual ears to hear His voice strongly + clearly
I have a suggestion that may be radical but would grow a church quickly. Create a safe place for singles of all ages to come and worship without fear of being "fixed" because they aren't married. Contrary to modern belief, many believers don't view church as a Chucky Cheese to keep young couples and kids entertained.
The Village church where Bro Matt is lead pastor is in a shopping center. It used to be a grocery store. But yes! There are creative ways for a church to get people in the door to share the gospel.
Lost me at Easter egg hunt. Bring pagan practices into your church and you will build a church on the bones of false converts. Gods bride is beautiful just as it is it doesn’t need to be whored up to attract carnal men.
