At the same time, I think it's important in the treatment field to recognize that medications are also drugs that come with their own effects and risk for tolerance and withdrawal. They can also be used effectively to help support recovery efforts, as long as we understand their role.

The Florida exam is the essentially the same as the Illinois exam. Your scores are not bad at all. The one area I would look at the most is clinical evaluation (assessment). Next time you take the exam, the questions will be the same, just in a different order. Most people score better on their second try.

Thank you so much for this video, and for sharing your practice test with everyone! I started at COD doing the 3+1 program then Mary Beth got in my head (in the best way!) and I transferred to Loyola to get by BSW/MSW instead, with a CADC. Got my LSW, now doing the CADC exam the 31st. It’s great I can still count on COD 😊

It looks like Missouri has similar standards to Illinois (missouricb.com/), but you should check with the credentialing board to verify what exam they use.
@@jasonflorin1847so this may sound bad, but when you say "what exam they use," is there a version or particular type of test? I'm asking out of complete ignorance. I'm a MAADC ll and I know the credentialing board here in Missouri says it's the exam for CADC. Beyond that I have no idea. Any clarification would be welcome.
@@firstof3cooks To be honest, I'm not sure if Missouri uses the same exam or not. Only the MCB could answer that, or someone who has their CADC in Missouri.

I have a Master of Social Work Degree with a Certified "Advanced" Alcohol and Drug Counselor development plan (CAADC-DP) in Michigan.
