Hey! How can I get the starter kit if I’m already a consultant? I’ve tried looking everywhere but I can’t find it and my recruiter said it’s still possible to get it. Hope you can help!
Hi gwyneth! Unfortunately I don’t believe there is a way as a consultant to purchase a whole starter kit. I believe the reason for this is due to the amount of product that you get for such a small price. The huge deal is meant for a brand new consultant to kick off their new business without having to spend a ton of money in advance. You can however still order just about everything that the starter kit comes with through the May Kay InTouch website that us consultants order our products and supplies through. You can even order the starter kit tote bag (empty), the Mary Kay books, the binder, all of the literature, the party mirror trays, facial cloths, product samples, and of course all of the full size products that the kit comes with. These things all just have to be ordered through InTouch and it does total out to be a bit more than the cost of a starter kit. Hope this helps :) best of luck!! 😊
+Hannah Hill Hi, I am a new consultant. I got my inventory package, but I still feel I don't have enough inventory. Do you think I should invest in more product? What products should I have at hand, makeup or creams?
Hi Judith! Congrats! 🎉 personally I feel like it really depends on the volume of customers you have at a given time and what your customers are primarily interested in. For example, I wouldn’t feel a need to have several clearproof skincare sets or botanical skincare sets on hand unless I had customers actively interested in purchasing it. I recommend having one set of each on hand to use specifically for facials at an appointment or skincare party for potential customers interested, and especially for clearproof set, MK has a travel size version which is also AWESOME to have on hand to use as a sample or for someone to buy to try out. Same goes for makeup too. No need to have every single shade and formula of lipsticks, just a small handful of a decent variety of colors. Having lipstick samples I’ve found is the best way to go so that customers can try out different shades and formulas before buying. I’ve never had a problem with customers being willing to wait for me to order the specific one they choose. All in all, only buy what you feel confident you can sell. Mary Kay after all is meant for you to MAKE money! Not lose money on over purchasing inventory that may or may not sell. Sorry for the long response, but Hope that helps!! 😁 good luck girl you will do awesome 👏
