It sucks that there will never be another show like Lucha Underground, but it sucks even more that the talent doesn't get to keep the rights to their characters created despite the show being cancelled less than a decade ago. Who's copyright cockblocking anyway? Amazon? Baba-G? El Rey? Robert Rodriguez? Mark Burnett? AAA? If MLW can blatantly reference LU and have their alumni appear for them, wouldn't it be pointless for whomever is responsible keeping the rights to the "intellectual property" if they aren't going to revive the show? I hope Court Bauer can acquire the rights to what's left of Lucha Underground and allow its characters and concepts to return where they belong: the talent.

I agree with Gail. This collaboration is the best thing for the wrestling business period,not just TNA & NXT. And Its been calculated, and thought out. Yes i want to see more,but im patient with it. Inlove NXT/ WWE isnt dumping on TNA like AEW did. TNA has value and it seems like NXT sees that, the collaboration helps both. Exposure for TNA, experience for NXT. So far,its been a beautiful thing. Gail Kim is a Legend,and what she's done in her career shouldn't be forgotten at all. Even now,she can get ina WWE ring and kill it.
I think he will. But I like the way TNA is doing it. It's a journey for him as to just putting it on him. And the training he's getting at NXT is only helping him get better. Like they say, the money is in the journey, the climb. Right now Nic Nemeth is the best choice, he is the better wrestler. But if that moment comes again for Joe, no doubt he'll be TNA Champ.
