People in the comments complaining like crazy. This isn't a bespoke, tailored, or customized suit. It's just a general idea of what you might end up with from off the rack. All you people acting like you have money for bespoke stuff. LOL
Retired now, but I worked in the corrections field. That took me to the Courthouse as well as to community events. I had a classic grey suit, Blazer and some sportsjackets to help may way through various scenarios.
Say you don't know what you're talking about without saying you don't know what you're talking about. The aesthetic you attribute to BC is Milanese style

Ill always buy AG tried others but there's just something about AG that is unique.
Just wanted to pay my respects to this gentleman. Back in the late 90s when I was just out of university, doing an internship and just wanting to find some inspiration to “dress for the job you want” even if I couldn’t afford it, Harry himself attended to me with my ratty shoes and when no one else would give me the time of day at his flagship store on Bloor street. After a few minutes and questions he directed me to some pieces to match my taste and gave me his card. I took careful note of his sartorial advice to me and it still guides me to this day, even if not all of my wardrobe comes from his store. But you can be damn sure where I went when I started earning enough a few years later for my first “good” suit. Rest easy, good sir…thank you.
I’m so sorry about Harry Rosen’s passing. Everyone is describing him as a men’s clothing and footwear designer, but this woman has a navy blue, single breasted jacket she very much cherishes. It never goes out of style and still looks new. Thank you for this beautiful jacket. One more thing please; I purchased it at First Canadian Place back in the late 1980’s, if I’m not mistaken.
So just 1 button. No matter what? Sorry but no. The man makes the clothes, the clothes never make the man. Nothing wrong with buttoning at least 2 buttons. Most of the time, you are taking your jacket off. That's why you wear a vest also. Buttoning 1 button is acceptable when you are keeping your jacket on while you are sitting down.
