@@IanWheller-rv4zi thanks for the feedback. I no longer use music there is a far better video for you to watch. It’s the PGLS or Pro Grass Layering System. A lot better. Thanks Martyn
I was hoping to use this layering spray on XPS foam as most of my miniature pieces are built on it. Do you know will the propellant in WWscenics layering spray melt or warp foam?
@@sydeninsomniac7832 hi. Not sure on the propellant. But I have used it in modelling foam, polystyrene and it’s fine. The product is water based. But I always tell people to do a test before hand.
Thanks for the video, really informative.Bought the applicator, selection of grass, basing glue and other bits and pieces this week. Fortunate to live close enough to visit the store. Really friendly and helpful staffer, looking forward to visiting again.
Great review , I,m saving my cash to buy one + all the other bits & bobs .. I have a 8x 2 ft rough area & woodland to make so this will be a great help .Thankyou .
Currently on your website none of the scatters are available apart from just a few. Will the rest be returning to stock sometime in the near future? Just wanted to check :)
@@CymruJedi hi yeah we are waiting on a delivery, but this will take some time. They are going on a long trip 😳😤. Keep an eye 👁️ on our socials to know when they back in stock.
Was it just me or did anyone else gasp in horror when he dug his fingers into that beautiful work of static grass? 🤣 Awesome display of how to use your products. I've heard good things about this product, and now I've seen how to use it. Thanks
OK, makes perfect sense, thanks. Just wanted to check as pretty much most of the DIY builds I've watched are connecting the positive output to the mesh, a few inside the hopper, and the probe is negative. You definitely get great results that's for sure
@@Bunyip_Studios ah ok. That’s because they do not understand how it works. When they do that, the power is in the wrong place. The grass is sitting on the power which then wants to throw it in the air. The negative field needs to be behind the grass. Which in turn then is drawn towards the positive field 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great tutorial, about to start on some big scenery sections and have a starter kit, i bought years ago. As per a previos comment what was the 6mm grass that was used (layer 5) ?
Odd you didn't unbox and show the pieces. And a tree with before and after using the fibre would have been apprpriate. I know you are likely to do do both at some stage but this could have been a better primer
Yea. Tbh I didn’t have time the live was really about our exciting news. But point taken and yes i will be doing some tutorials on using the modelling fibre. I did mention in the live I would be doing some. So keep an eye out on our Socials👍🏼👍🏼
Congratulations on the big news!!! that drum roll and fanfare was priceless 😂😂😂 looking forward to Modeling With Madeline 😂😂😂 and I thought he said chip food 🍟well done again, well deserved, remember us when you’re famous 🎉🎉
Congratulations to the whole team at WWS. Great to see a great Welsh company doing so well - your products are excellent and the reason you are doing so well is because of your commitment to all the modellers out there - proud of you all
Good to see you Martyn, we will push WWS products into stores, but please if you go in your local shop and ask for it if you don't see it on the shelves, the more people that ask the more chance we have of getting it in to the shops
Ordered 2 pro and micro grass applicators- but the grass is not standing up as it lands on the glue or the spray (adhesives and grass are all from WWscenics). Battery is brand new- not sure whats not working? Kindly advise!
I suggest you watch the Pro Grass Layering System video. You are probably too high with the applicator or keeping it in one spot. Which you are then over applicating. So keep the applicator nice and low to the board and keep it moving. Also keep the clip close to the hopper
Hi. It will depend on what length of grass you’re using. The croc clip is the positive end so it works far more efficiently if it’s above the plate. Just play with it and see what works best for you Cheers Martyn
This is by far the best video I've seen on how to apply static grass, and I've placed it in my Favorite Section for future reference. I have one question with regard to the positive end of the circuit. Could that be attached to the body of the applicator near the end rather than having to hold it?
