Do the engines keep the closed circuit cooling system as they use when installed in a land vehicle? No electronic ignition system to worry about, what a blessing and piece of mind.!
From the country that doesn't even put ice in their soda pop ? I don't think they ever actually get hot do they ? I mean their secret agent spies wear dinner jackets to the beach to swimming pools and stuff .
Let me add that they do not support their umbrellas. There was a minor wind and the smooth roller broke. They will say that no umbrella is "warrantied" from wind damage. However, they sell it as being able to withstand hurricane force winds in their little videos at the store. We assumed a light breeze would be fine. Nope! BAD COMPANY!
Always remember the gospel according to Mark, Mark Wilmot that is,,,,"Everything looks easier from shore." Dock guys know what that means, for sure! Congrats to the Water's Edge boys for getting it right! Thanks!
I've been in a combustible engine powered boat faster then 32mph at top speed. Then he said run time is 3 1/2 hr , no thanks I'll stick with my gas burning boat , a 65hp evinder gas burner top speed is about 28/30 mph depending on water conditions..
In 2019 I used this company to move my Alden 44 sailboat from Boston to Duluth, MN. Working with Molly and their driver was a dream. They did such a good job the marina in Boston called me and asked for Cross Country's phone number. They said that they have never worked with a more professional company. Many of my marina neighbors have also used them and have all had great experiences. I highly recommend this company, and no, I am not affiliated or sponsored by them.
This is the same victor Herbert son that I know of he’s a thief he’ll lie to you I wouldn’t buy a battery from him especially Charge X battery I do believe they sell Charge X batteries to he’ll take your money and not even send you a battery
Amazing. So simple. I hope they come out with a “plus” version like the spirit line. More power, more range in the same type of form factor. Maybe even with the spot lock and other features from the x line. Wouldn’t even need a trolling motor anymore. I have that same paddle board, definitely want to buy one.
So when your water level comes down like a foot does the resistance fail since its pointing down and thus the pontoons will come back to the docks edge?
You should cancel the Chicago boat show #chicagomayor many abused children are trafficked there. #fbi save your bank loans from default #sec Go to dicks sporting goods for 365 boat shows. #dickssportinggoods
I have mixed feeling about this product and this company. I have the newer version with the replaceable battery. It does work but I have had issues. It is not waterproof. Mine started developing moisture inside the unit after a couple of months. The response from the manufacturer was to seal it myself with silicone. In fact, any time you contact their customer support and suggest anything is wrong with their product that is their fault, they immediately and invariably blame the customer. This is a small company. I suspect it is run out of someone’s garage or basement. They have purposely hidden their location on-line. Try to find them. You can’t. It’s not an accidental lack of disclosure. Further, every single one of their RU-vid videos has comments turned off. I wonder why that is? Because they don’t want the complaints about them and their product to be known. Bottom line: these are cheap, they work but not that great and are unreliable, the company offers a warranty but the time and costs involved to make a claim render said warranty worthless, and, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The product is a great idea but the execution is amateurish and support is unprofessional. At the time I was willing to take my chances but, in retrospect, I wish I had just purchased a better made and better supported product from a more reputable company.
Sounds cool, until he talked about the battery. This big bad boy of a battery can only power the boat for a very, very few hours? And 10kw is quite a bit to charge, too. On my sailing boat, I want to have auxillary power for more than just that long. In fact, if I go from Bangor to Belfast it'll take me 3 hours, and that I usually do under engine alone because it's 2/3 of the way in the channel, where sails are restricted anyway, and sailing for that short amount of time is not really worth it. With this engine and battery, I would probably just about make it, maybe run out of power right before I am in the marina. Not really good.... And even worse in stormy conditions. That's what I really have the engine for. To be able to maneuver in bad weather. This is something that is always to be avoided, but as a long term cruiser, it will happen eventually. And if I only have 1-3 hours of manevurabilty then, it is quite dangerous if I used up all of my power. In bad weather you don't generate any electricity, as the winds are usually too much for wind turbines and there is no sun.
