Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a euphoric experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation. I created this channel with a passion I have for ASMR. This "tingling sensation" is something I have experienced for a long time. I never knew how the sounds were actually making my body react a certain way. If I hear a sound, it has to be at the right frequency in order for my body to react. I will have this sensation that would start from my head and travel to the back of my neck. Sometimes this sensation would travel down my head and to my shoulders and down my arms. It's amazing that so many other people are experiencing the same feeling.
