Thank you! 🥰 I think the most important part is having fun while drawing them, and then experimenting with poses, ages, appearance…! Of course using lots and lots of references!
Beautiful art work 😍 I'm new to digital art, but you are such an inspiration. Would you consider doing tutorials for beginners or are there any you recommend?
I love your art! By the way if your sketchbook is finished (the one you put in your vlog before), can you make a tour of it?( Not forcing) because your art inspires me to be like artist someday, like you ☺️🌹, sending love💕😘
just leave it definitely, in the future you can look back and see how much you've improved, or even realize it wasn't as bad as you thought! i'll always regret ripping out the "bad" pages of my first sketchbook tbh. If you REALLY don't like a drawing, put a Post-It over it and just draw on that instead.
Hey, I love this video! It really helped me, but honestly, I used to draw a lot, but then I stopped because I thought all of my drawings were bad. All I wanted was to create a sketchbook and make drawings like you did, but I stopped for a while. When I came back, I drew like a one-year-old. I just wanted it to be perfect from the first try, and now I don't draw anymore. This video inspired me to make a sketchbook, but I don't know how to do the shading or put different colors to make it look good waiting for your response 💗💗
This was really nice to watch! I'd consider myself more well-versed in traditional art mediums than digital (although I've been on a digital art kick this past year or so lol), so I have some advice to share! Regarding acrylic paints, here's what I have to say: -Paint consistency with acrylics is difficult and involves a lot of fiddling with water:paint ratios, but once you understand it, you're golden. -All acrylic paints are plastic, so be mindful of how you dispose of the dirty paint water. The art brand Golden sells a paint water purification kit that'll get nearly all of the acrylic paint out of the water, but using coffee filters can also help loads. -Adding a layer of white before trying to paint over darker areas helps save a lot of time regarding opacity, especially when reds and oranges are involved (they tend to be a bit more transparent) I hope these help!
This is such helpful advice, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!! ♥️ knowing that even you think getting the water to paint ratio right is hard makes me feel better 🥲♥️
The only reason why I have it is because my mom got it as a gift when I was very little, but she never used it much, so I adopted it when I got a bit older :D I *did* use it when I was in my aspiring artist era, but I do have to admit that nowadays it mostly serves as a rack to hang stuff on 🫣 it was very convenient for the video though! :D
I started doing art digitally and recently started exploring with traditional art.....haha the features i find myself missing are the zoom in and undo! it takes so long to erase!
Oh yes, zoom! 😭 how can I add all the tiny details that won’t even be visible on the final piece if I can’t make the paper larger as I work 🥲 and you’re right, erasing is a pain 😅
Thank you so much dear Alicja, I’m so happy you like the paintings! 🥹 I might try to tackle acrylics again in the future, but probably stick to landscapes hehe 😄
thank you for sharing this with us! all spreads are so lovely. the colors are vibrant & the illustrations harmonized each other. just by looking at it, you have given us lots of ideas to fill sketchbooks in a fun way. Please share us more of your sketchbooks <3
