Pretty hard to argue against that looks like proof is in the pudding bottom line we are being ripped off by MC tar companies Ludacris high prices with no mileage see why so many people are going dark side
I grew up here...... but you cut out and back in on Michael Jackson's Billy Jean just after you passed my house ancestral home......time stamp 1:48..... oh well..... still fun watching you ride the road of my childhood.....
Looks to me like the tire is pushing the bike wide in each turn forcing the rider to correct more than what should be necessary. I live in this area and ride these roads daily
It's amazing how much more traction there is with a car tire compared to a bike tire. There's no comparison. It's harder to do a burn out, even on wet pavement. I feel much safer on high speed turns with a car tire too. You just can't break them lose.
15" Pirelli Cinturato textile radials were fitted to the rear of some 1970s choppers. OK for mostly straightline cruising I s'pose... longer lasting than overpriced bike tyres.
Whats overall thoughts on the car tire? It appears to be working fine in the vid. I have a Stratoliner that eats tires and im getting a bit tired of changing them. The MC2 Ive been running ends up with a 4" wide flat spot within 6 months anyway.
great vid guys i just picked up 2012 navi model it rides great doesnt even feel like your doing 80 plus lol the only thing they say you cant put a kuryakin ring of fire on the navi model? is there a way around it or do we have to wait for a new kit.? thanx
What road & in what state were you riding? I loved the view & the scenery! P.S. I'm thinking of going to the DARK SIDE & was just wondering, how is the car tire on your bike holding up, I'm curious?
I'm considering going to the Kumho or Dunlop car tire for my Goldwing. I hear great things about it but is there a down side by doing this you have to be sacrificing something by going that way to the Dark Side.
Thanks for sharing. I have always wanted to drive through the Rockies, sadly I am too broke for a road trip. This always reminds me of the Alps in Europe too.
