Hi, Welcome to my RU-vid Channel.
My name is Cal Carter and if you see my channel name, I spelled it Cartier due to others with my first and last name. I was a drummer and vocalist that started playing in my very own Band for Adults in 1975, at just 15 years old. We played a variety of genres and played a lot of weddings before the DJ came about. Growing up in Pittsburgh, it's an ethnic melting pot and you must be versatile. In the 80's I got serious with the keyboard and would play 4 hours gigs by myself, as the One Man Boogie Band. I knew my chords from my Dad teaching my friend, the keyboardist in my band and from watching it I understood it.
I also piddle on the guitar and also have built a few, because I am a retired Cabinet Maker/Carpenter of 30 years. I Base most of my songs on my Chord Arrangements or otherwise it is noted.
