Just tried my first bottle of Black Velvet. It is their normal version. It is surprisingly smooth, not to much bite, and slightly sweet. It actually doesn't taste like most Canadian whiskey. It is worth trying if you get bored.
Wow you are such a wealth of knowledge on the fine spirits. I hope you post many more reviews like these. You must read, study, and drink a lot to know so much about the tasting notes and have such a refined palate. Are you also skilled in the arts of mixology? If so, do you have any secret signature cocktails that you could share with us? Keep it up!
I’d love to set up a tasting. How would I go about setting up a tasting experience when I’m in the area with my wife? Also what interesting selections do you offer and tasting notes. Thank you!!!
@LR-yc8ez I like the 109. Proof by MM. But if you want something besides MM my go to favorite at the end of the night is Quality House Kentucky bourbon. Its a bottom shelf bourbon. But I go through a gollan a week. I sip it when I'm working in my shop and after doing a live show. I hope this helps. If you are a cigar lover. I woukd suggest the regular MM whiskey with a medium to full body cigar. The after finish and flavors mix well.
