@@AreEff1987 I have had a look at their website and they say you can dilute your paint with water so I see no reason why this technique would not work. Perhaps scoop out half a teaspoon of paint to test it to make sure that you are happy. They look like lovely paints and I see they sell the extender as well. I might get some to try. Let me know how it goes. I'm pretty sure it will work.
Thank you so much Colleen! I've been trying to find ways to better cut out can designs because i like to glue them into my junk journal! I have a small collection of cans waiting for me to try your method since mine proved to be very dangerous :p i poked my finger a lot
Hi there. I think I am correct in saying thermocol is similar to polystyrene. If this is the case, then yes you can. Once painted you could use a craft glue/ PVA glue to stick them on.
@@I_give_I_give I haven't found it affecting my dies. I have also seen a few people using tin foil to sharpen their punches and the soda cans are also aluminium but slightly thicker. I don't use my dies a lot with the soda cans and haven't noticed them getting blunt.

Hi Marlene I don't have a shop anymore but I have seen a two step crackle product by Pentart which is based in the EU. You should be able to buy this on Etsy or Amazon. I hope this is helpful.

@@leslie4853 Your first layer of paint must be 100% dry before you apply the crackle medium. It's such a fun technique to try. You can always do a test on a scrap of wood or thick card so you know how it works before starting a bigger project. All the best.
I've been working with plaster for over 50 I'm years. Here are a few suggestions. Paint your dry item with an even coat of water based Gesso. It will help seal the plaster to keep it from being so absorbent. Use a blow dryer to cure the gesso, then apply your paint. Acrylic or latex paint works great! After drying, apply clear coat acrylic sealer or spray gloss. Hope this helps. (Note: I absolutely love working with Duncan Opaque Stain Acrylic Paint, available at any ceramic supply retailer...Another is CeramCoat Acrylic Paint by Delta, available at Hobby Lobby.)
@@oolala53 you get two types of fabric paint "bases". The one you would find most easily has a transparent base which gives you bright colors. This one is the one most suitable for painting on white or cream fabric to maintain the color. The second is opaque fabric paint which has an opaque WHITE base. This is usually used for painting on dark fabrics. BUT because the base is white you tend to get pastel colours. I would suggest two steps: first step paint your black design with opaque white fabric paint to block out the black. Once this is dry paint your blue over the opaquewhite paint. You can get these supplies from a craft or hobby store or a screen printing supply store. Please bear in mind that this is a suggestion and I would suggest you do a test first to make sure that you are happy as I can't guarantee your result.
