I appreciate the prominent sticker. I see the Pulse sticker and the dealership's sticker on new cars in traffic and proceed to buy from a different dealership even if it is farther away. I don't beat down salespeople or fault the dealership for having per unit profit targets, but I do demand an untainted new vehicle, or with only official Toyota dealer-installed accessories to pad your profit to a comfortable level.

Great video that really helped me out👍🏼👍🏼 Likes from 6 of my channels😂 I have a 21 Taco & bulbs went out. My 2018 when I had it went out & the dealer replaced the entire piece. Are 2018s not bulbs? I remember wondering that back then but just got it replaced. I thought that they all had no bulbs but the entire piece was the bulb too. Either they jipped me or the person maybe thought I wanted the entire piece changed. Oh well. I know now that they do have bulbs you can change out.
WIX is now Man Hummel and a lot of them are made in China. Once you get the corporate giants in, the quality goes down. Going back to Toyota OEM because they are nearly 1/2 the price of WIX and probably better than made in China.
OK Wix and Napa makes better oil filters than both of those. Motorcraft I will say has a better design for the bypass but I’ll use OEM or wix. If wix is better than the OEM than I’m using wix.
This dealership added scam may reduce the value of your car because they take a well engineered and documented wiring harness and butcher it up with this. The maintenance wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts are now inaccurate. The well designed wiring harness integrity is now jeopardized by cheap splicing components. You also now get a possible a mysterious rattle if they don't secure the device properly or some cheap sticky tape comes loose where they decide to stuff it. Even if they do secure the device by drilling holes they've penetrated all the layers of corrosion protection and left you with a brand new place for rust to develop. Ask any honest mechanic what they think about any third party electrical dingus some knucklehead has installed and you will get an earful about countless hours spent chasing down undocumented wiring messes, mysterious battery drains, or just loose wires that fall out of $0.05 Chinese splice connectors and end up blowing out your brake light fuses, which you won't learn about until somebody rear ends you because your brake lights failed.
What about the bolts that connect the bars to the feet. They seem really loose on one side of each bar. I know it’s for alignment but it doesn’t seem you can tighten after alignment. Is this intentional? I know it’s fine because the member is under compression but I don’t want bolts falling out and their tool they included doesn’t fit.

Please add: "And occasionally on less than two year old Toyotas, the fuel door spring's faulty design will cause you ultimate consternation at the gas station when you realize you have about of gallon of gas left in the tank, and and the fuel door will no longer pop open. In this video, we will not show you how to remove the faulty designed original fuel door spring." Tips: 1) Carry a shop rag or other item you can roll up and stick under the fuel door release lever propping it up, then the fuel door will pull open easily manually by hand. And then you can at least get gas before going to the parts store or ordering a replacement fuel door spring online. 2) If the door will not open by hand after propping up the door release lever, the cable to the fuel door might be broken or out of place. This cable might need to be inspected by a mechanic. The door usually can still be pried open (make sure the release lever in the cabin is still propped open first) using a credit card or a gift card, or less desirably a screwdriver shaft, on the upper right corner of the fuel door to force the fuel door open so you can at least get gas before taking the car to a shop. Don’t even bother going to Heyward Allen Toyota, was taking to a service advisor and she was telling me my Tacoma isn’t a 4WD because it didn’t say it was anywhere on a piece of paper. Asked her a few more basic questions and she couldn’t answer them correctly. Finally asked if I could talk to someone who does know what a car is and she threw back a , oh cause I’m a woman I don’t know about cars, routine.
We ordered the clip and all seemed easy as you said but it will NOT click tight on the one end! Pops off, any ideas???? The piece is identical to the one you show, ordered on line.
3rd party fuel door springs in my experience do not fit as well as OEM parts. Order the fuel door spring from a local Toyota dealer's parts department. More $, but much less frustration at install. The other option is to use sandpaper and sand down the edge of the part that is too long, shave off just enough where the fit is good, but still tight. This is what I had to do to get my Dorman made replacement fuel door spring part to fit the first time. Good luck!
So all these after market filters are garbage? I feel like Mobile1 makes a good one - but maybe they’re junk too. Good enough to use their oil but not their filters. Got it. And K&N are crap. And amsoil - junk. Geesht. Guess I need to run down to my Toyota dealer and pay extra for a far far more superior filter than any aftermarket pile of crap out there. Thanks for saving me mister salesman guy that would only tell me the truth and never ever lie to make more money. You may have saved me!!
I think Autozone will have the Toyota filters for cheaper. I think he left out the fact that mobile makes the oil filter. 🤣. I’m a wix and stp man myself.
This fool found the cheapest Chinese filter he could find. Just shit all over aftermarket filters when Toyota don't make their own filter for one two there are ton better aftermarket filters and factory
You have to prop the lever open in the cabin then press the fuel Door on the opposite corners to open it. You will then notice the Spring Clip is missing. Glad to help❤
