Well, in all fairness, this is a good arrangement for what it is. This arrangement is block orchestrated (most sections are tutti--the goal is to keep everyone busy playing, and if your group does not have full instrumentation, the total global sound is still maintained) and targeted for high school. Also, the instrument ranges in the arrangement are kept to educational/amateur standards. So, no, this arrangement is in no way comparative to WH's original version, but, it is not meant to be. And, it is well performed by this highschool group. I am sure they had fun rehearsing and performing, and using it as a general educational tool. From that point of view, the work definitely serves it's purpose.
