Raja Ampat is belong to Papua not indonesia. This is the main reason Indonesia is not letting Papua be independent. Indonesia until now still colonialise Papua because of theirs resources
I don't recall the glove policy on the Mermaid. But I do know that a no-touch policy was stressed many times. Some have said they use them to help grip the ladders and ropes getting while getting in the dinghy.
