West Winds was formed in 1993 with support from the People’s Association and Bukit Batok Community Club.

The band's vision was to create a place where passionate musicians in Singapore can gather through the love of band music, and sharing that music with the community.

One of West Winds's main objectives is to promote awareness and appreciation of band music within the community. Our annual concert series, “West Winds in Concert” has become a significant highlight in the local band music scene.

West Winds has remained committed to it's mission of serving the community, emphasising the values of Friendship, Community, and Music-Making in it's musical endeavours both local and internationally.
