As a Android developer it was actually fun to see how JetBrains first replaced Eclipse workspace that was pain in the ass with Android Studio, to later replace Java 1.8 with Kotlin so Oracle can start to copy kotlin features into later versions of Java

Zorin OS is the most uses friendly Linux distro I ever used! Basically like Ubuntu, but better (of course it has bunch of proprietary drivers so Stallman would not approve). Unfortunately if you want to develop anything for iOS you'll need to get yourself a MAC. I would also guess a Hackintosh comes with at least as much pain and suffering as some exotic Linux distro.
Fuck Jetbrains, when I start Android Studio my laptop starts working like shit. This on a NVME SSD, 32 GB of RAM and 12 × Intel i7-9750H laptop. In Romania you can buy Windows licenses for 10-30 euros, depending on offers.
JetBrains got me with Android Studio, I was happy to move on from Eclipse, then I also got used to PHPStorm for web. After switching jobs I started using VS Code and did so for years, now I'm back on PHPStorm and it feels... good. By now I also adopted Rider for my hobby project, and I'm a happy camper, and totally sounding like a bot lol. Oh, and on topic I'm mostly on Windows, WSL saved me from MacOS which I had to use before that but didn't enjoy, but I still get to occasionally venture there at work.

I worried there’s gonna be some strong contingency of viewers that really might begin installing/using Temple OS in a completely legitimate manner. That would be divine.
