Hi, I am an amateur Transition/Street Skateboarder. My goal here is to simply showcase my journey through the weird, wonderful world of skateboarding. I also wish to emphasize and support the remains of the transition skating community. I feel as though it needs and deserves more attention than it gets in the current state of skateboarding in general.
I'm glad to see helmets and knee pads at the very least. I started skating vert in 1980 and just recently put my deck into retirement. I never would have made it that long without knee pads, Helmet , and wrist braces. Skate hard and skate safe.
all it takes is a little guts brother, you killed it! expecting a little slash grind before the end of summer now. you look good carving, you totally got it
Thanks so much! It did take some guts, but by the pressure of the camera I sent it! And yes for sure I’ll have some more tricks in my bag by the end of summer
i learned to drop in when i was like 8 and still pushing mongo, to this day im still too freaked out to drop in with my regular footing because it feels like im doin it switch lmao
@BridgeGuitar it's in Dunwoody, Georgia, a few miles north of Atlanta. OP may not wish to expose that info, but it's a public skatepark, not a secret private spot like a pool, ramp or pipe.
Well, you actually don’t need a ton of good skateparks to be good at skateboarding. It is nice, but really all you need is some concrete, maybe a curb, and something to jump over (Ollie off of) and you’ll be well on your way!
