Back in the late 60s early 70s there was a fishing lodge up there , They had 6 small cabins a general store and great fishing lots of kokanee and nice rainbow trout . Back then the road was brutal 4×4 only ,low gear on the way down. I still go up there these days , still good fishing at the wash out ,dew worms under a float always brings good results.
Three years later Vernon is still spinning the same web of lies and excuses. I wonder how much he's cost Indiegogo over the years as people realize it's just a house of thieves.

Great video i spent a lot of time in that very area years ago,Bear Creek village was not there at that time..the logging camp was there , an absolutely beautiful place..also for dirtbiking there are hundreds perhaps thousands of miles of old logging roads up through the mountains..many memories brought back..thanks for sharing!

Just to keep anyone who hasn't been following this: It is October 12, 2022. In May 2022 Vernon Kerswell told a "reporter" aka useless shill from some media rag, that he would begin shipping in three months. On June 15, 2022 Vernon said in an update he planned on shipping in 3 months. Now, on October 12, he is saying he will update the campaign "soon", he has not made a monthly update in 4 months, and has been saying he will update backers "soon" for almost two months. Legal action is the only way you get anything out of Vernon Kerswell and Extreme Fliers aka Extreme Toys limited.
I honestly don't know. I use music from the RU-vid audio library and only choose those with no copywrite. If you want you can time the song then go into the library and see if you can match it.

I wonder if they still allow drones here, would love to bring my mini 2 since it is a micro drone. Phew! I had a shock watching the drone drop so close to water lol! 😅

Hey, Andy. Sorry it took so long but I've been calling Transport Canada daily and it goes to an answering machine and then says it's full and won't accept a message. DON'T take this as the correct legal answer but as far as my research tells me there are no regulations on a mini or anything under 250 grams. I could not find anything that actually stated mini's are not allowed in parks. I know over 250's are not allowed in National and Provincial Parks but could not find any information on Regional Parks, which this is. So my gut tells me you can fly a mini there.

On the May 24th long weekend they start the 'flood.' It is also the day the campgrounds open. A park rep sits at the gate. Each year is different as to how long it takes for the flats to be completely flooded depending on snow runoff, rain, etc. Usually a few days. I know we have access to the flats until May 24th but now that they have campsites and a gate there I don't know if we do anymore.
No. He is still saying it will be ready in a few months. Even if it is, it is now over two years obsolete. Even $30 child's toy drones have better technology than this thing. On top of it he lied about the shipping. He advertised $25 for anywhere in the world shipping and he just pocketed it. It's coming from China so we have to pay all kinds of fees..VAT, Shipping, customs, etc. Another $72 for something I have no use for and don't want anymore.
We've been going to Stave Lake for 25 years. (Not this video) First time I put the drone up we were amazed at things we never knew existed there, some of them mere feet off the roads.
