Considering the size of the car, not that much leg space on the rear seat...

Neat car! It’s interesting how Buick and Olds didn’t have full sized wagons in 65-69 (olds 65-70) like chev and Pontiac did. Instead they had the lengthened versions of the A body wagon (Vista Cruiser and SportWagon). Oddly Buick decided to make a fullsized wagon for 1970, the last year of the 65-70 B and C body generation. Oldsmobile waited until the new 71 generation (the giant clamshell body). The 65-70 B and C cars were great cars. All were solid, reliable and comfortable cars. 69 saw the arrival of the two way tailgate, finally matching the Ford design of several years earlier. While the 71-76 wagons were nifty and original they suffered from persistent tailgate problems and in general had lower quality in terms of body solidity, assembly quality and interior materials cheapness.

I learned to drive in moms ‘70 Lesabre Custom two door. Exact same color. This car brings back loads of memories. Looks like an amazing time capsule.

Just 2 days ago I was unaware Buick made a full-size wagon in 1970 and now I have seen it in two RU-vid videos. Like everyone else who sees this car, I would like to know how it survived 54 years.

The way that this one is equipped, it had to cost in the neighborhood of $6,000 when new.

I'd like to see cars built like this again, looks like a comfortable place to be. I'm from Scotland and the Buick marque was founded by a Scottish born man whose family moved to the states when he was young. I personally like the 1950's Cadillac's and the 66 through to 76 incarnations of the Cadillac 75, especially the Talisman. But this station wagon looks special, that embroidery on the seats is ah just great.

Magnificent! Love the details, especially the curved design at the top of the wood grain side paneling and the curved bodyside molding--similar to the '69 and '70 Buick full-sized Sedans.

Gorgeous and well preserved example of a great 1970 Buick Estate Wagon! Love the color combination and the Buick Mag Wheels--they really set this car apart from other wagons! This is a superb "family car!" Thanks for sharing the video!

I used to work at a gas station that was well known for giving your car a thorough cleaning in and out, this was in 74,75ish and because I was a little guy They always made me get in those wagons and clean the windows and vacuum every nook and cranny, especially the vista cruisers, all those dang little windows up top 😮😢!❤yeesh!😅😊
