Thanks for these combos. I never tried to learn counter hit combos before because i thought my reaction would be too slow, but actually its easy to see when 88A counters and when it doesnt.
I took up maxi a few days ago and man he is amazing you are a really helpful maxi specialist keep up I would love to battle when I have him better much to learn I still have

this was super useful, just playing around with this as the foundation taught me so much in the first two hours of training wish I started playing him earlier oh well I'll main him in SC7
They should send the guy in charge of designing character gameplay on the Tekken team to work with the SC team. As flawed as this game might be, they are doing a lot of daring/innovative stuff. Hopefully there will a next one and they won't fuck the competitive scene from the get go.
Hey richsticks i just have a question...on the blue aura I went to the lab and I didn't see that it lowers guard stamina on your opponent but it does repair my own guard stamina. For example:I tried A+B on blue aura and it took 7 hits to break the oponnent's guard and without blue aura it took 7 hits to break his guard also. Am I missing something?
I'm still in the process of figuring him out, with auras on top of talismans on top of lifeforce moves... but that means lots of depth and so much upside.
@@cr-cn4ky See the yinyang symbol with a number next to it below Hwang's health bar? That's his "life force". He has some powerful moves and techniques that cost a bit of life force to use. If he finishes a round with less than 0 life force though, he starts the next one with less health.
@@cr-cn4ky I'm still confused by it honestly. It seems like talismans are life force moves, but not all life force moves are talismans, and then there's so-called auras...it's a lot to unpack. The game definitely calls the yinyang gauge "life force", though, and his move list labels everything that consumes it a life force move.
@@Jovian999 hmm....maybe the lifeforce is the color code of the ying yang?..u know when it turns blue,gray,yellow and red depending on the number?...and then the talisman is the number next to the ying yang...but yeah like you said,a lot to unpack with this character.
Totally agree, at first I felt a little overwhelmed because of the talismans penalization, all the stances and all the auras. But the more I play with him the more I think he was really well done. And definitely thank you for the Aura guide, this is the one thing that I haven't delved too much, so far I was only using the auras to to meet the conditions to gain talismans. I may have been healing myself a lot of times and I even didn't notice, lol.
Thank you! This was much needed. Next time can you get into aura specific lethal hit requirements? And also is there a way to gain talismans outside waiting till the next round?
In his neutral B+K talisman stance if you do the K attack and hold the button it will give you +2 lifeforce at the cost of guard gauge (unless you don't have enough guard gauge left) and if you land his super either raw or in a combo against an opponent in yellow health it will do extra damage and give you +3 lifeforce (you'll know if this worked by the change in music with the super)
They need to put Soul Calibur 6 (Soul Calibur 7) on Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 like The 2 Games are but fix them over by having Classic Gameplay back with no Armor Break revive The Soul Edge Design with Picture Format Screen Old School Graphics quality no 2 Timelines have 3 Soul Calibur Games with better Canon Stories like The 4 Classic Soul Calibur Games Soul Calibur 1 (Soul Calibur 2) needs to be on Playstation 2 & Xbox 260 like The 2 Games are already remove D.L.C Guest Characters & others Hwang Sung Kyung Li Long Seung Mina Taki Rock Siegfried Schtauffen Seong Myeong Edge Master Greed Talim Necrid Charade Olcadan Bangoo Zasalamel Abyss Algol Zwei Xiba Viola Elysium & Others should return in The Same Games they were left out in The Original Versions they aren't finished
@@blakenapier3125 What?!? There is no Soul Calibur 7. Also it's impossible to put a game that was developed specifically for PS4 and Xbox one and put it on PS3 or Xbox 360 since the hardware is way outdated.

What does Maxi get once all stars have been collected? I read somewhere that a just-frame comes out automatically but I dont know if that's the whole story
