Hey there, I absolutely love your channel! Your insights on sustainable fashion and personal styling are not only informative but also truly inspiring. It's clear that your videos are in high demand, and I can see why - your content helps viewers transform their wardrobes and embrace body positivity with confidence. I noticed that there are a few SEO optimization techniques that could potentially amplify your reach and engagement even further. By refining your video titles, descriptions, and tags, and updating your channel settings, you can make your amazing content more discoverable. Additionally, performing off-page SEO can enhance your channel's visibility across the web. I specialize in RU-vid SEO and would be thrilled to assist you in implementing these strategies. Together, we can ensure that your channel reaches a wider audience, allowing more people to benefit from your exceptional fashion advice. Best Regards, Rezaul Bari

Thank you for explaining what "modern" dressing is, which I was confused about for awhile. I think I don't have a lot of traditional pieces, but I do love a classic pencil skirt. It's interesting to learn what is considered "traditional".
@fpopstudio

I am also a big fan of pencil skirts but I see these less and less in the design I was used to. I am really glad it helped!

@@fpopstudio To be honest, I haven't worn my pencil skirts in over a year. I think I'm in a "comfy but tailored pants era" right now. Perhaps, eventually, I'll return to dresses and skirts later. I used to wear formal (and tight fitting) work dresses, but I just haven't enjoyed feeling so constricted lately. Also, I gained weight so they don't even fit, but that's a different story. 😅

@alamedadanceparty I did feel the same, the shift to working from home has influenced my choice of bottoms as well. This is why I wanted other options. Enjoy your comfortable garments😗

Hello 🙂. Just found you. How refreshing and wise. I have stopped watching the RU-vidrs who relentlessly parade huge haul after haul of new clothes. A huge life change and move to a much smaller home made me realise the burden & shame of 'too much'. I donated much of my former work wardrobe, buy second-hand sometimes and now appreciate the joy of a smaller carefully curated wardrobe. Emotional attachment is a real thing for me when letting go of certain items that no longer serve me (but I will never part with the pink silk skirt I wore when I met the love of my life in 2002).

Dear Eliza, I have been through this 'freedom from too much' journey myself. I am happy you found me and I am grateful for your comment and also enthusiastic to see that my video resonates with you. I would also not want to part with such a garment, which is so much more than a pink silk skirt for you. 🙂

This is the best set of guidelines for a business casual dress code that I’ve seen, great job. I would also avoid any low-cut top, exposed lingerie/VPLs, cloth bags or shoes, sneakers, and any type of athletic wear, even puffer jackets, except for long and trim-fit down coats if required by one’s climate. Before I retired, my corporate dress code also forbade flat-felled seams (the thick, puckery kind on denim), casual shorts, tank tops and any other tops/dresses with bare shoulders. Tights or pantyhose were required on exposed legs if wearing a dress or skirt, or socks under trousers. I still would avoid these things, but sleeveless blouses/shirts can sometimes be worn under blazers these days. I did wear longer, dressy shorts and just over-the-knee skirts with tights and blazers, they were fine. A spaghetti-strap tank or cami is not a sleeveless blouse! A sexy bra peaking out from a low-cut blouse isn’t worn in real life offices, but only on TV shows. Save sexy for your husband! If you push the boundaries, only do it in one item at a time, not the whole outfit! Low-to-medium heels (1 to 3 inches) look much more professional than stiletto high heels, which are never appropriate for daytime, anyway. Tattoos must be completely covered and no facial or body piercings! I strongly suggest never getting them if you want to date, get married or have a career. Keep jewelry simple and discreet, earrings shouldn’t exceed one inch in any direction and wear only one matching pair, not multiples in each ear. Hair styling and makeup should be polished, but natural-looking.

Thank you so much for sharing these additional details on your dress code. The forbade flat-felled seams was one element that surprised me. I realized how detailed the dress codes can be. I myself had several codes over the years, but this is one aspect was not considered. Stockings and accessories were also on my list, but the video would have been too long, so I appreciate you adding the details for those who arrive here to see it as well.

Thank you for your excellent advice! I have always enjoyed wearing floral patterns and lace, but floral patterns aren't very popular right now so I don't. As a teenager back in the late 1970's to early 1980's, I would make 'Gunne Sax' clothes patterns and all the dresses were in floral patterns with lace. Also I loved a deep purple velvet dress I had. My graduation picture was taken in a straw hat with lace and flowers and I made a lavender skirt and vest embroidered with flowers which I wore with a white cotton blouse that had a high Victorian neck with lace and pin tucks. I miss the beautiful clothes and romantic details that were worn so many years ago. Thank you for bringing those memories back.

You are weaving quite a half told story. Constantly stressed animals get sick and die. That’s not profitable for farmers. Shearing is no more stressful than a child’s first day of school and over much much faster. Small ruminates aide in carbon sequestration far more than they put out.Have you been to a wool farm? Please see books called Fibershed and The Soil Will Save Us. Please look up permaculture systems, Silvopasture systems, Animal Welfare certifications. These things can work on larger scales. Let’s not throw out the wool with the bath water, shall we? Even if you are vegan, buy wool. You need the soil to have the nutrients and grazing behaviors animals provide for the soil to take up to grow thriving vegetables that will enrich you. Fiber animals are good for the planet.
@fpopstudio
@fpopstudio 6 месяцев назад
Thank you so much for sharing this concerns and adding to the information I shared. I am not per se against breeding ruminating animals, they are indeed part of an ecosystem, I am against overproduction and overconsumption. Due to the high demand from Western countries, the number of these animals is increasing and is out of proportions. It also, due to low rates for wool, puts pressure on farmers to skip pain relief while performing mulesing and tail docking procedures. I do understand the danger of the parasitic infection flystrike, so the need to perform these, but not how it is conducted today but cruelty free. As a child I saw how my grand-grandfather was shearing sheeps and even though that was a while ago, in a non-regulated industry outside of the European Union at that time, I did see that lack of care from some individuals so I am 100% sure this is happening today.
