The Sola-Brush does not need a gooseneck because the brush head angle can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees . However, you can use one if you need more reach on the bend. The modular poles require a gooseneck, but there is a straight one available.
The stock nozzle will use 2.6gpm at the max pressure of 1800psi. Most users clean at 1500psi or lower which would be about 2.4gpm. These are pressures at the brush itself. Often a 1/4" hose is used, so the pressure at your machine will be more like 2000psi to get 1500psi at the brush. Other size nozzles are available for less (or more) flow, but most people use it with the stock nozzle.
Unfortunately, NO. The C400 is its own unit and can not be upgraded later. The C600, C800, and C1000 all use the same drive unit. So you can buy a C600 and add sections to it later. You can also buy a C1000 and take sections off to become a C800 or C600 if you want a smaller brush for some reason. All of the C series brushes use the same connections and come tuned for the same flow rate. Lower or higher flow rate orifices are available as well.
Thank you for the suggestion. I was considering doing some new videos and will include this as well. I am busy with a couple of projects right now, so it may take a little while.

Adding a third tank in series most likely would not save you much money on resin. It would give you more leeway to get the first tank regenerated when convenient. Having testing ports or inline sensors on each tank will help you know when a regeneration is needed. If you are using a lot of water, the best way to reduce operating costs is with a RO system.
Hi there, I see most people use the solatec brush with DI tanks. Is it perfectly okay to use the solatec brush with an RO system? Is there a minimum flow rate required?
Thank you for your question! Both the SolaTecs SolaBrush and the C-Series brushes can be used with an RO system. A DI system is much simpler than RO and that may be why you are seeing most people using that setup. DI is also a lot cheaper cost up front per gallon, however an RO system may be more beneficial if you are using a lot of water. In a RO system, you will want to ensure 3GPM at the very minimum because certain factors can cause pressure loss like the temperature of the water. The flow rate of the SolaTecs C-Series brush is 2.5GPM at 1800 PSI. If you are referring to the manual SolaBrush, you only need about 1GPM (for rinsing purposes) Feel free to give us a call and ask us questions at (530) 407-7927!
It is definitely one of the best non-rotating brushes available. The Sola-Brush is heavy duty and allows angle adjustment from straight to more than 90°. It also has good quality bristles that will clean effectively. The wider brush is a little over half the width of a panel, so will clean efficiently. It is designed to be used interchangeably with the super efficient C series, allowing you to use the same pole, pressure washer, and so on. The brush sprays the panels with low pressure even when used with a pressure washer.
Recommended pressure is between 1450psi and 1750psi. It only uses 2.5gpm, so most home owner pressure washers can be used as is. Any pressure washer with 3gpm or more will need to be detuned by the unloader. For more info, see my website www.premsc.com/explore-system or email me at info@premwsc.com
