I have an 04 g35 and I have a code for p0011 vvt I change bank 1 and bank to fit an oil change and still came back don’t know what to do next. Chang cam sensors? Any help would be much appreciated!
if your fuel gauge is messed it might be a battery issue. Not getting enough power to the fuel gauge. either clean the battery or replace it, and if its still happening then you should consider replacing the fuel sensor or fixing the voltage issue
Testing the battery periodically should be something people do so you don’t get a surprise later down the road, as for fuel gauge issue, there’s plenty of things that it could be, contacts on the float get dirty and can be a simple wipe, could just be a faulty unit at that point that worn out, can also be a cluster issue, wiring, etc. Diagnosis is key so you don’t go down the rabbit hole of spending money to not fix the problem!
Hey I own a 2003 g35 coupe currently having an issue with popping sound from exhaust car is nowhere near as loud as it was I miss the loud thing so much plus starting to backfire only rarely ok so other than the popping not as loud and loss of power issue I unplugged my maf plugged it back in engine lights on though is running a lot smoother barely makes the popping sound but still bit quiet and not as much power please help lol
Got my Z1 all aluminum bleeder valve a month or so ago. Finally getting around to replacing the pizza crust bleeder valve Infiniti decided to use. 😵💫 luckily, im replacing it before it fell apart like ive heard so many times, over, over, and over again! #Z1MotorSports #Z1
Did this today worked like a charm BUT My door latch would stick and not let me out of the car had to order a whole latch assembly from Amazon wish me Luck .. dealer wants $558 Z1 wants $250 Amazon $50 gonna take my chances and report back.
Not sure if you’ll see this, in the spec d headlights there’s a yellow wire, for me that wire is just loose and I noticed it needs to be grounded somewhere but where lol I don’t have oem ballast/ignitors so idk where to ground it also could that cause my lights to cause “VDC off” whenever lights are on ?
Congratulations on the garage! I myself spend the entire winter cleaning out, and fixing up my garage. I really would love a car lift. They are so expensive tho. Seems to me it would be easier to work on a car while standing. 😂 I'm getting too old to be laying on the ground.
I’m in the same boat, getting a bit tired of the constant back on the floor, I have found a company who has half jacks that at least allow you to sit up instead of laying down!
@@JoeVazquez I saw the "Quick Jack" that looks interesting, and won't exactly bankrupt guys like us. I think it would work well with a heavy duty stool type thingy on wheels. I've looked at some rolling stool/bench that actually holds tools too. That would be soooo much better, and safer! Harbor Freight has an awesome one made by Pittsburgh for under $100. Looks like a lil tool box with a cushion on top, and heavy duty wheels underneath. We would be able to work smarter, not harder!
I ended up going with the ISR Y-pipe but I have a resonated coupe OEM mid-pipe and I'll be switching that to Megan Racing stainless resonated mid-pipe. I really liked the options with the Circuit Works but wasn't willing to pay that much as they are a little steep.
@@JoeVazquez I was wondering if maybe you could make a video about what to look out for when buying a used g35 in 2024 im buying a G35 very soon and it would help out tremendously.
Coming up on 70k original miles on my stock, unmolested (for now 🫣) G35 Coupe RAS! just recently replaced the rear hub/bearing assembly, luckily for us, Z1 now makes the bearing & hub one piece already pressed together. Hayaku was the manufacturer i received for the hub & bearing part from Z1. Just by looking side by side one can tell the Z1 part is beefier than the stock one. *after installation, about 2 weeks later now im experiencing clicking noise in rear driver cv axle. In first, very slow, between stop n go. Also in first, at a crawl, let off gas, can hear the click, click. Took off wheel, and to my surprise, the axle has play. Time for a 370Z Nismo upgrade. Thanks for the information Joe!
Do you know the fix for the car not going above 3k rmp after being at a stop light I’m able to go above it but after driving for a while if I’m trying to step on it it goes slow and I’m not able to go above the 3k till after a stop sign or red light
The Camshaft sensor problem is common even in Altimas and Maximas. I washed my Altima's engine bay with Foam soap and spray water without pressure then codes P0011 and P0021 came on, the car was in limping mode 😭😭😭💀
