I must say I enjoyed the tutorial you are great but where am confused is at the overburst tightening will it not short the material if you don't add what will be removed from it.
@@fatimoaderonke2968 If the corset will have a zip at the back then you should add what you removed back when adding allowance to it but since it’s a lace up back, you don’t need to add it back.
@@olamiderasheed8566 okay, Just cut out your pattern after tightening both the upper bust and underbust, you don’t need to go ahead to start creating the cups
Hello ma'am thank you for your tutorial. But pls my client a nursing mum has a shp of 36 and a bust of 39 and my problem is that there's nothing left to take the 2nd dart
@@AggieInyang-tj3ck Since you’re snatching her waist, you won’t use her normal waist measurement, you’ll reduce her waist measurement to 32 or 33 or 34 depending on how much you want to snatch from her waist, but you’re not going to be using zip at the back because that’s not her normal waist measurement

Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial . May God bless you richly. However i have a question. Can I still snatch my waist if i am using a zipper? Also if i want to attach this to a skirt, in other for me to be properly snatched, how low should i go from my waist line?
You’re welcome dear. If you want to use a zipper then it’ll be an inbuilt corset. If you want to attach a skirt to it then you should just wear the skirt and use your mirror and mark where you want it to start and the style you want.
Thanks very much dear but please I didn’t get the waist part well did you deduct from your original waist measurement cuz mine didn’t tie like yours please enlighten me again on the waist area thanks
My normal waist measurement is 28 but I deducted 2 inches from it so I used 26 inches to cut my pattern that was why I didn’t take anything off when cutting the center back
