Whether it’s a passion, purpose, whiskey, or a song, when uncommon souls focus on what unites us, we find understanding - even in disagreement. And with understanding, we can celebrate differences in our plight to change the world for the better.
People often exercise free will in the wrong way so its hard for humans to agree because everyone is tainted but rather prove a point before submission
Of course. Because once they were freed, they had it made! Laws supported their rights to vote and start businesses and provided equal opportunity for generations… Wait….
@@UncommonSouls I don't believe in any of these holidays and I'm black. All people are trying to do with minorities is to continue to marinate in the past.
Until the preconceived notions an behavior of role models parents friends come into play then business as usual And business must be good Comes out with a new flavor every 10 yrs and revives the perennial flvors every 5
A gangsta don't advertise their crimes . You probably believed that Johnny Cash shot someone just to watch them die . How did you manage to live this long .?
I was happy Juneteenth was becoming a day to be celebrated, but then I was told it wasn't a holiday for me to celebrate despite the fact that I had family who died fighting the Confederacy working to free their ancestors. I have neither sympathy nor empathy anymore because there isn't any for someone like me.
We were all Americans after 9/11, but the democrats couldnt handle that much unity, and its been a nonstop war to divide us again, so much so they have convinced the black communities that they want segregation again... who could have seen that coming?
I think we will still have a few more racist generations. Just milder and milder racism. I was the only white kid growing up in urban Chicago. I was picked on for being white. And the Mexicans and Puerto Ricans didn't get along much. And the Hispanics didn't get along with the black kids either. But I will say it's getting better. But the neighborhoods in Chicago are still segregated.
Umm I had a black best friend all threw elementary school. Soon as we hit Jr high he couldnt possibly be seen with the white boy and acted like he didn't know me. But I suppose I'm the racist in that scenario.
Me too! I’m 66 and I had (and still have) friends of all colors and nationalities. We never batted an eye. TO OUR GOVERNMENT: stop focusing on our skin!!! Stop perpetuating decisiveness!
I am 66 years old, I went to high school in the South, during segregation. It was a culture shock on BOTH sides for some. But, that being said, other than a few groups who pushed each others buttons, we all got along and some formed lasting friendships.
