Thanks mate. The main diet is chick, quail, rat and rabbit. The rabbit we catch goes back in to feed for the hawks so that’s free. Chics can be expensive depending on where you go but I buy in bulk so it’s much cheaper. Quail at the minute is expensive though

@@riversidefalconryandbushcraft Yeah, you're not supposed to because they line the cans with BPA and other stuff to make the food last longer that has longterm health concerns. Using the can to cook causes the chemicals to leach into the food. Whatever, it was a cool idea and doing it once or twice probably doesn't matter.
I wonder how many times these hawks have flown between 2 people? I am thinking it’s more than you can count! At the end I was expecting an epic slogan! I have one you could use. How’s about “unleash the power of the hawk and create everlasting memories”!
I think she enjoys the stimulation. She’ll be flying great too and from the glove them she’ll stop until there’s a challenge. Demonstrates the intelligence of the Harris
Thanks. He’s in training. He’s good for flushing just needs to settle down a bit as he can be two much for a few of the birds. One of my Gos is settling really well with him though so hopefully work them together next season
Wow, this is amazing. My grandfather used to live in Dene Terrace and had one of these allotments, it was beautiful and he was so proud of it. You will do an incredible job here. 👍👏

Thanks for that. This one was filmed by one of my leaners(a child) and was pretty proud of the end result so tend not to knock their work if that makes sense. Hoping to upgrade from iPhone camera soon to make it easier for them but thanks for your advice 👍🏻
