I need to try the Martin but the OOOCJR-10E. I have the Martin mini e koa and the Taylor mini mahogany, the mini mahogany sounds much better than the koa to my ear. The koa seems a little muddy or muffled and the mini mahogany sounds clear and more articulate
@@jameswilliford5478 All subject to personal preference I think :) back when I was about to buy my Taylor GS Mini I tried out every model in the shop. I tried spruce, mahogany and koa. I just loved the deep rich tone the koa has. The lighter the wood, the more brilliant the sound. For me I never liked the overly brilliant sounding guitars so the koa was the right decision for me. But I totally understand why somebody else would prefer a mahogany or a spruce guitar :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@@easykrohn Your "Literally" - that was pretty funny. Thankfully, Hurricane Helene went north of us here in South Florida, especially after we just had Hurricane Ian here a couple of years ago that pretty much wiped-out our Ft. Myers Beach community. But I feel so sorry for everyone that has just had so much damage. For many, it will be life changing. Anyway, you are inspiring my music once again. I'm going to rework my previous original with a new title and resurrect one that I wrote after my own dream many years ago. Thanks! 🙂Rick

Esto no se puede prevenir por completo. La guitarra siempre se puede escuchar parcialmente en el micrófono. Pero si inclinas el micrófono hacia arriba, obtendrás principalmente el sonido.
@@mauroal8686 Si quieres grabar las voces lo más aisladas posible a pesar de grabar en directo con un instrumento, cualquier tipo de micrófono dinámico es adecuado. Un sencillo Shure SM58, por ejemplo, es una buena opción económica.
I’m putting in a Baggs element eas vtc active in mine. I preferred the anthem just piezo sound alone. For me the blend was too much sound. Certainly a big upgrade than the Fishman. I am gigging with it at this stage and it’s ok but hoping Baggs will enhance the sound. I want to use Fishman box to house the barrel and the battery.
Yeah for sure, it was so much fun! I was just constantly worried about driving that very old car cause I had just rented this and it really wasn't easy to drive that thing. But somehow we made it work :)

@@cadwalladee01 Thank you Scott! Yes, that’s exactly why I wanted to take people along and basically walk them through the whole process. Cause if you are somebody outside of the music business you obviously won‘t see or hear about a new song until the artist releases it. And you might think „oh cool, a new song“ but you will have no idea that it took several months or even several years to make that song come to life. And that’s what I wanted to show in this little documentary style video :) I‘m glad you thought it was insightful. That song in particular was actually produced quite quickly in comparison to others, yet it still took 8 months from writing to releasing… And yes, I‘m proudly wearing that shirt 😊 Even though that name „RDC“ is no more… still a good shirt though 😅

For me the undersaddle alone was a bit too muted could use some brightness, but I did like the warmth. On the other hand, the microphone was all brightness and no warmth. So I would probably go with with 60% saddle and 40% microphone. A little more warmth than 50/50 gives. But that is the beauty of having that kind of flexibility. We each have our own preferences. Well done highlighting the differences.
I have used the xVive 2.8ghz on mandolin in a crowded space and it did drop out quite a bit from interference. I switched to a 5.8ghz and it is a lot better. Now I'm considering get a UHF version for our guitar player.
@@waltsyd yes, 5.8 ghz is much less prone to interference. I didn’t experience any dropouts with this particular one yet. I used it in about 20 different gig settings… but it can always happen.

Nah, not a good pickup. The LR Baggs piezo sounds the same as the Fishman, just a bit EQ'd, and the mic is honky and unnatural. Blended is ok but not great. The Cole Clark PG3 is the best pickup on the market. I've used the LR Baggs a few times and they were terrible. Feedback, thin sounding, mic wasn't adding anything. They are worthless in a live setting at a decent volume.
Easy - the acoustic version sounds great too! It has great energy in both versions. Congratulations on your great work! You always keep me motivated! 🙂👍

@@easykrohn Yes, they are a lot of work. I have a pretty good one for this Friday, but I just spent 6 hours working on the next one and it just wasn't working, so I scratched it! Aaargh! LOL
Thanks for sharing.. The sound really becomes ”Three Dimensional” with the Anthem in Blend mode.. I’m defiantly sold to the anthem idea.. And Hey… your English is absolutely great 😊 so keep this great videos coming 😅
