It is our goal to lead the way in developing technology, resulting in products that allow the drummer to practice with little compromise. To put it simply, we want your experience with RTOM products to enhance your fundamental playing skills.
At RTOM we have people from many disciplines working in engineering, manufacturing, and science. All of us understand or play drums, and we bring our unique ability to an area of percussion that has been long overdue.
Can't believe that I had the black holes for three years and I just discovered the existence of their own triggers, for someone like me who've never used triggers and only played on acoustic kits for three decades, this is like when I discovered that we can watch RU-vid on our phones
Hello. Seeking help. I am using Alesis strike module with black hole heads and triggers but not able to remove double triggering no matter what setting I am adjusting. I am using mono cable for black hole trigger and also tried trs cable and result a little bit better when I eliminating rims sounds Do you have experience with the same issue or maybe you have a solution for my setup. Thank you in advance.

Since every kit setup is unique, factors like drumhead tension can affect how each BH trigger performs. If you encounter any difficulties while using your triggers don't hesitate to contact our support team through the "contact us" page on our website at rtom.com.
It’s the same thing, if anything the other carrying case was so much better, now i’ll keep the old carrying case and put the moongels in it when i need to carry them around
We understand missing the old case. Change can be difficult. However, the new packaging reduces waste, which is always a plus and doubles as storage. Try it out you might become a fan!
Are you gone all crazy? This is what I was told when I let the world know I use this wonder gel on my tonearm fitted with a 12 hundred dollar cartridge, with a Shibata diamond stylus mounted on a boron cantilever. I had already installed the excellent K.A.B. Silicone trough at the base of the arm pivot to quell tonearm resonance. Then 6 months later I decided to try the moon gel. I must say it actually increased the effect of serenity and staid performance from the cartridge/ tone arm combo. This was evident on better defined bass, cleaner transients and even smoother full symphony crescendos with more detail into the 20 kilohertz and beyond. Of course I calibrated the tone arm to operate with the extra weight. Don’t forget about that. It is crucial. The cartridge and the tone arm functions as a percussion instrument after all. Think about it.
I bought them and th DDti drum module just couldnt give me the right response for snare and for bass drum, i tried everything, changing triggers from possition, turning on and off the module, loosen and tighten the mesh heads, i even tried different modules but turns out the best answer i could have was with the ddti. i cant manage how to stop the bass drum to have false triggerings as well as the snare. any suggestions or help? i tried everything i could imagine but its frustrating to make such a big investment in equipment and not seing the desired results. HEEELP!
Yes, they work with most modules that allow for 1/4 inch cable connections. However, BH triggers must be used with TS cables since they are single zone triggers to avoid double triggering.
Hello. I am using Alesis strike module and connect bh triggers via ts cable but constantly getting double triggering no matter what setting I am adjusting. I really like your product but can not make it work properly. I would appreciate any help Thank you
If I wanted to, hypothetically, mount a cowbell onto the rim of my floor tom, could I conceivably do that with a black hole head on? I’m aware I’d have to adjust the width, but I’m just wondering if it can be done without causing damage to the rim of the black hole.
