On my 2006 bmw e90 3 series my radio works and passenger right and rear both speakers work but not the front left driver side. I wonder why but if someone has an idea let me know, i chrcked the amp and looks intact , no shorts. No burns.
Hello. I have a 530i / ? E60 is that correct? Newbie here. I have no power to display. Head unit. And the CCC powers on but sounds like a cd or disc is stuck. I have no audio or visual. I have the unit that has navigation. Please help me
This some real annoying sht. All this mysterious sht BMW does to make you spend money is bulsht. The 6 is my favorite car, but I'm not sure b if I'll get another because one shouldn't have to be a dam magician to have a nice life with it
I had the same problem. The CCC/CIC worked but no sound, no chime, no EQ, no Bluetooth. Long story short if anything is disconnect from the MOST Bus the whole chain goes down, seeing how its fiber optics. I had the panel above the pedals off and never hooked the Bluetooth back up! So it can be something as dumb as that.
Ok guys I need some help, I just bought a 2006 BMW 330ix and the radio has no volume. I see fixes for other models here but not for mine, any suggestions?
When you were washing it, water leaked into the amp in your trunk. Very common in European cars. I work in a car audio shop, we see it all the time. Your amp is most likely hanging on by a thread, when you cut the power, the water that was in there had time to dry and you didn't short anything. Although, if you have any sort of audio problems like you did, damage is already done.
I just jumped to the volume and eject button pressed them both same time and waited about 5 secs until it restarted. After that my audio works perfect. Thank you for your video.
Thanks Chriss it helps a lot but mine has a problome of the radio is on but is not working and the buttons on the strearing not working can someone help pls BMW E90 323
Mohammed Hamed this happened on my 5 series sound played and then went off, I just disconnected the mulf located in the boot and boom radio and cd playing again

My silver knob what is it called ? The I drive navigation button and the menu button wasn't even working, I just held onto the volume button and the eject button and it helped reset everything and it worked after
Heh guys, I have the same problem with my e60 2.0d 163km. Exactly the same, i should to buy new crankshaft sensor and battery? Mechanic have no idea whats that.
This is just an update for those of you than may experience this. All the car needed was a new clutch and fly wheel. The old one broke to pieces inside the bell housing it broke the crank sensor which was why the car didn't start! They fixed it after replacing the SMG pump which it did not need! In total new SMG pump fly wheel clutch was almost 5k
I had the same problem this morning. NO SOUND. I have a 2007 328i. Holding the volume button and eject button simultaneously for 5 seconds worked for me. Thanks for the advice!
+rawdogg696 it didn't necessarily lock up, I was on the highway going around 70ish when I heard a loud sound come from the dif then the car rapidly started losing speed. It felt as if I was towing a diesel truck very heavy since I new it was already out I drove it home like that at 25mph on the back roads lol
+element7us oh okay haha must have given you a scare all the same when it went..OK thanks man for the info..I changed my fluid with lucas 75w140 and it was wayyyyyy worse..gonna try the spec bmw stuff next...and get mentally prepared to buy a new diff :(
I have a 2011 380i ,had a same problem, no sound . I fixed by disconnected the negative battery cable, wait 5 minutes and reconnected cable, drive around for 10 minutes for the car to reset (is like reboot the computer) ,that's work for mine. hope that help .
just disconnecting the negative battery cable fixed mine,,,,, after picking up from detail the car had no audio playing from speakers,,, don't know what caused it!
your video is just a temerperarly fix reboot entire mulf u Unplug your battery and left your head light to drain out battery or power but it is a alot of work just to get sound it will continue to comeback again because u didn't fix it your mulf box in back of your trunk under the carpet is the cause this issue you need bypass it with fiber optic loop only $20 to just get sound for radio but u will loose your bluetooth until u have money to buy new mulf at bmw for $1400 or $400 just to update and recode and collaborate your mulf box which is your bluetooth functionality thats causing all this issue to your head unit but it is the cheapest fix so for just buy fiber optic loop power off car plug it to your mulf wire facing each other so they are see each other you will guaranteed to get sound for radio and door but can't use bluetooth
hi! I do have the same problem that BMW 2013 X6 speaker does not work. I can connect to the bluetooth and the navigation also works. But, there is no sound inside the car. Do I need to buy new mulf?
I have a 2008 bmw 335i, I had the same problem where no sound would come out of the speakers, It was just a blown fuse, the speaker fuse is number 8 located in the glove compartment. Maybe this can help someone
