@@stevechance150 it doesn’t look that way when you’re on land looking at it or on boat. It’s just how it looks from above. Something to do with the lights reflection on the water I read. Even the ocean water can look like that from the drones perspective. I can assure you the water is fine lol

Very nice...just keep in mind you need a resident beach permit,to park in the lot,driving prohibited during daytime,than only with approved 4×4,permit....let's save what's left,leave only footprints
Neat video, I saw one in Florida last year but didn't have my drone with me at the time and when I got back to get airborne it was gone. Hopefully this winter I'll see it.
@@timothyfrederickchurch81 no it’s not. It’s the Mavic 2 zoom. I’ve been caught in the rain plenty. Mostly just wet in the top and propellor wings so east to dry off.
@@christopherderian5741 yes! I’ve seen some big boats in there. My father used to sail over there with his 20 foot boat all the time and swim ashore. If I could share a picture on here I would if him there and many other boats were there. Lots of people go there and raft up
@@jeannesdroneventures6078 Thank you I am a member of Port Jefferson yacht club, and we have never been over their with our sailboat. we were scared too because its uncharted we draw 3.8 feet and have depth finder but never been in there to anchor we are going to give it a try.
@@DRONE-A-HOLIC- yes really lucky to live five minutes from the lake. There’s so much activity on the water every day pretty much. One thing I’ve really gotten into the past few years is flying around sailboats. I’ve traveled up to Maine even the past few summers to capture the Camden clasics cup with over 90 sailboats in it. That was really cool. And got to go to Charleston race week this spring for the first time.
@@DocColVideo thanks is is one of my favorite lighthouses to shoot! The rocky shore line is so beautiful and you can walk out on the rocks below it which is so fun! I just realized this is a highlight reel. I was talking about the thumbnail shot here lol
