The problem with wooden utensils is that they can't be cleaned properly. They absorb some of the food they tough which attracts bacteria, grime, mold etc. Scrub and sterilise all you like, but honestly wood is ornamental, not practical for food.

That is a cute spoon there but why you didn't just pinch the herbs with your fingers and save yourself hours of work?

That is beautiful. My taid (Welsh granddad) used to love whittling. It's so satisfying to watch.

What size wood do u use I have the fox design drawn on some basswood but it’s only 1cm thick is that too thin
