One of my favorite villain designs (Not my 'favorite' favorite, but hes up there) is TIO/The Iniquitous One from Piggy. Dunno why but I love villains with that style he's so cool to me.

For the first one, instead of "Tracing character poses" you should say "Break down structure and shapes" for studies as you did around 4:30. The second one is basically "use references of real people" and using the animating one was a good one. It's a good video, thank you ^^
