My Pop pop always said soaked alfalfa and minerals block and that is all a horse needs to thrive. He always said Man interfering with the natural balance of an animal is the problem.
Ik this doesn't have anything to do with proud flesh but imma ask anyways lol, can you do a video on what your body position should be going into the barrel turn and turning the barrel?

I have a question This isn’t related to the video but I really need help✝️❤️‼️ I have had horses for about 4 months and one of them is really slow and try to throw you if you try to canter😅 so do you know what would her get faster and not throw us lol Thanks soooooo much ✝️❤️‼️👍🏻
make sure all your tack is fitted correctly. get the horse checked by a vet to make sure there’s no underlying issues. i had a horse like that and after the second time he tried to throw someone off we got him checked, turned out he had a tendon issue. horses often work to please their human, so make sure the horse is feeling ok! best of luck ❤
@@steezyjackiessister how old is your horse? Because mine was trying to do that and I had to do more ground work and build him back up with basics! So maybe if he is young he could not be understanding the point of going faster??? I’m sorry I’m not sure but I at least could try saying maybe more ground work like the round pen.
It keeps those biting flies off their legs, so they don't stomp them and pull a shoe, get an abbess or get sore. Just makes the fly months more comfortable for them.
Me: “Okay, no hands!” Announcer: “That was a no time!” Also me: “Huh, why didn’t we get a faster time, we didn’t even get a time at all… I had quite hands.” (This is just to be funny! 😅)
Also I love your horse, I just got a new 3 year old barrel prospect, I can’t wait to start her on barrels when she’s ready, but she is tall, she’s 16HH and my main barrel horse is 15HH. 😳 Also if you don’t mind me asking how tall is your horse?
I increased the alfalfa pellets in my geldings diet, and started lunging him more. Any tips on what else I should do? Other than lunging everyday for the first time because I keep hurting my self or leaving town 😂😭
I am from Idaho:) I do offer coaching phone calls if that is something your interested in. Feel free to send me DM on Instagram under the same username as here and I can get you more details on how those work:)
