Despite the cold it was a wonderful day to be out recording the event. I am proud to be your 1st Thumbs Up, though it took a while for all of the rest of the fingers to thaw out too. I see some of the GoPro shots worked out. Nice that they drove carefully.
I flew in the SB2C at the Manassas Virginia air show in 2013 and I had the most fun I have every had! Ed you are awesome and thanks for allowing me to keep the canopy open during our flight. It is a memory I will carious for life.
I recently found a plaque Mr. Joseph S. Hydrusko received from the Antique Airplane Association. I hate to admit it, but my eyes welled up with tears after reading about what he started so many years ago. To his family including those who were born after his passing, he started a tradition that I can appreciate and I have never met the man. Thank you Mr. Hydrusko. Sincerely, Bill H. Hicksville, NY
I took the ride in the Fall 2016 Military in Motion held at OBVR. Kevin Carroll helped me video it from a forward looking perspective. Posted it today on RU-vid.
When he visited Teterboro Airport in June, I showed him photos of my dad and his Helldiver on the USS Hornet. I told him that was my dad's office in the rear seat. He allowed me to sit in it. I have the photos he took of me with my VFW cap on. Thank you, Ed!!!!!!
thanks.. my father (Ben Rosman www.jugpilot.com ) would have loved to watch this.. I thought it was great.. was this the missing man flight on Sat night?? I;m going to embed the video on dad's web site .. thank you
Glad you enjoyed the video. This was not a missing man formation. The P-40, P-47 and P-51 did do two low level passes over the crowd. Thank you for your father's service.
