Icon on the Seas looks like a tall apartment block that dwarfs the luxury liners. It looks ugly, it's overbooking and that dome at the front just looks stupid. Utopia of the Seas looks way better, at least it's got that traditional bow.
Ive never been on Norweigen. I got adds SPECIFICALLY For Epic, so I looked into it. The bathroom situation was just the first issue. Second, i wouldn't be caught dead on a ship that ugly. (the motel 6 photo shop with the olive garden was halarious) Last the reviews of the boat are terrible, poor upkeep, cramped poorly designed rooms lacking left and right. For a cruise line that is MUCH more expensive than others, I cant seem to find where my money would be going. I sail SOLO and have tried and tried to get NCL to adjust my price, Princess will, Carnival will, Royal will. NCL has dug themselves so deep they cant even give discounts anymore. Its gonna be full price or bankruptcy I suppose. Princess, room to myself, week long cruise, tax included, $950, princess turns around and gives me a $350 onboard credit. So i never spend a single dollar for drinks onboard. The comparison with NCL would have been $2100 with a $50 on board credit. (one extra port, drinks and wifi included) SO i would have had to drink $1100 in alcohol to get my monies worth.... I average $250 to $350 onboard for drinks, there's no way i could drink $1100 in alcohol to make up for the price..... just a shame.
Well……this aged like fine milk. 🤦♂️😂😂😂 Like I mentioned before, getting fired by Royal Caribbean and becoming a disgruntled employee is never a good look. 👍
Have never worked there. Look at the view count, video did well. And obviously others feel the same about icon, they just announced that their next ships will be smaller. As for you, go be a loser somewhere else
I think buddy went on this by him self and was mad because he had a bad experience now is saying it’s the worst ship like if your mad and telling everyone there stupid just go on the smaller ships to those smaller places plus there are lines on almost all cruises so idk why you are saying that plus if you add up the money they make and the money they spend like for 3000 plus crew having to be payed and food they buy and supplies they are making a profit but that’s what they need to do they can’t just not make a profit they still need to get money for more supplies like if they spend 1m on food they need to make 2m to pay for the food and get the next food supply like it’s a never ending loop they are ripping you off but the experience you get can be different plus if you want to go to smaller places take smaller boats and cruises like this for a reason add stuff because it’s a cruise not a tour of islands it’s for the boat that’s why it’s bigger
We just booked for our family to sail over the Christmas Holiday. Thank you for showing the waterpark area. My 9 year old was just blown away and said that's all he needs to see and he can't wait.
Will be a great time! Remember to check the daily planner for waterpark hours - I found the slide lines to be short about 30 minutes before closing. It's fine to wait in line, but if you're strategic about it, you can basically get the slides to yourself! Other times might have low lines too - maybe right when they open, maybe around lunch when everyone's busy eating - who knows, but keep an eye out for low lines
Bro is mad over a freaking ship like grow up toddler. And what you mad cuz you can’t afford a cruise well guess what who cares that your mad cuz I went on I on of the seas 2 weeks ago and I had the best time of my life so how about you save up brokey
I don’t know what to make of your video. My wife and I have been on one dozens of cruise ships and we feel the icon is probably the best one we’ve been on second to the oasis class and celebrity even princess for some reason, you seem full of hatred towards Royal Caribbean trying to make money what is your favorite cruise line out of curiosity?
I'm liking Celebrity (owned by Royal Caribbean) and MSC these days. I've found that Royal's prices recently are ridiculous - first time cruisers who don't know about the industry & prices flock to Royal Caribbean for the name. Massive brand + targeting uninformed demographics, they get away with the high prices bc people don't know about alternatives. You see it across the entire RCL fleet - prices seem unreasonably inflated even for older ships. Meanwhile, I've been finding great deals on Celebrity ships recently - which is insane because this is Royal's premium brand. Celebrity's food budget is higher, ships are more modern & higher quality, yet lower or same price as Royal Caribbean - it doesn't make sense. The only explanation is uninformed new cruisers
I want to thank you in advance if you can give me this answer with some detail on Royal Caribbean ships every night from about 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 or 1:00 a.m. they have three to four different musical entertainment venues one will be a piano bar one will be a rock singer one will be a Latin band and sometimes there's another venue with another full band how did MSC meraviglia have it how many different musical entertainment venues with singers from what time to what time looking forward to hearing your response thank you
There's live music throughout the ship in a similar manner. In general, I've found that msc has fewer live bands, but much better main shows. That seems to be where MSC invests their entertainment budget. Go to the main show, and on Meraviglia - there's the Cirque du Soleil - I'd try to get tickets in advance. There's plenty of live music - but on MSC it seems that the most talented musicians are in the main shows
