Bitten by the travel bug. This channel will showcase a lot of my travel related videos. This will include everything aviation from route planning, takeoffs, inflight experiences, and destinations! Check out my travel blog at www.gatetosky.com
A lot of those areas are single family homes in older areas with mature trees. The trees have grown tall enough to shield the 1 or 2 story homes from view in the air.
I doesn't matter the airport associated to a city is not necessarely in that city it still bears the name of that city... Paris CDG for example is not in Paris but in Roissy-en-France etc....
@@AD-jq7ow and writing "landing in Port-Louis Mauritius", instead of "Port-Louis airport" makes it even more egregious. At least, Roissy is near Paris. Mahébourg is at the opposite side of the island from Port-Louis...
Hey there! Thank you so much for your kind words. Trying my best to get the best content out there for you all to enjoy. Go check out my blog if you have time as well. Will be uploading some new stuff today!
Malgré l'orage où un vent violent les pilotes d'air Mauritius pour un atterrissage comme toujours les yeux fermés c'est que du bonheur VIVE Air Mauritius la force de l'île Maurice ❤❤❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤❤
Do you find the A380 windows small? I can see a lot of the frame in the video shot. The A380's very thick fuselage is also probably why! How do you find the A350's windows? I am flying on SQ286 in a few days and am very excited!
So I don't think the A380 windows are small per se, but I do think that the space between the passenger side glass and the aircraft side glass is quite distant meaning sometimes you don't get the shot or view you want. It is quite thick in space and it's because of the curvature of the aircraft. The A350 doesn't have this problem and is quite wide and spacing is narrow. Both are incredible and have their pros but I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time either way.
I had the opportunity to fly on that plane, but COVID took it away and it took away so many other things too! I'm still glad that you got to fly on it, at least that's something to be happy about...
Honestly, I'm sure SQ will bring the A380 back to the USA, its just for now due to market demands its been moved towards Australia. SQ has been making some interesting changes like cancelling their Vancouver - Singapore route which AC has jumped on right away.
@@gate2sky A hope a lot of planes are brought back because there’s currently a shortage of airliners worldwide. Meanwhile, the popularity of air taxis (at least in America) is at an all time high!
@@ChrisZoomER I think revenge travel is great for aviation in general. Hopefully these flight prices come down a bit though. I do love that the 'retired' A380s and such are brought back and we will see that continuing. I think the A380 is ahead of its time and unfortunately its engines aren't at the fuel efficiency of more modern jets like the A350. But lets cherish these moments!
