What shade did you get? I have a ice blue shade 10 but it’s a little too bright for me. Wanted to get this one but wondering if the shade 10 seems bright too?
I got you you have to remove the outer clear lens look the the adf on the top you should see a clip you have to pull down on the clip and push the lens out the bottom round cut outs with the coin slot are the batteries covers
@@30hourreview nice. I just got me some. I found that wood dust was definitely messing me up. Lol. So I needed some more protection versus my normal life seeing googles. 🤣. Thank you. I just wanted to see if they had good longevity to them.
Have you tried the true arc hd ? I see their gold lense is 1/1/1/1 also im having a hard time deciding between the tefuawe and true arc ive been using the Lincoln 4c for a long time and its great for stick which is what i do 95 percent of the time these days i have really bad vision and have to use a cheater so i want the best color and clarity i can get to help me see i like the hand that has passive but scared that the 10 will be to light and 11 to dark what’s your opinion?
I can't recommend anything I haven't tried but this is a variable shade lens so you should find a happy place depending on what I'm doing I run between a shade 9 and a shade 12
@@30hourreview okay thanks ik the azures are hard to find i hope you can no one has ever done one on the azure for some reason it’s the only color wens you can’t find any videos or pictures of i think it’s supposed to be like a light blue though anyways preciate it.
Was this the regular weight or the lightweight one they offer? Been doibg a ton of heavywall and chrome pipe all of which is heated, currently have another suprise burn on my left elbow, and on my forearm bracing my tig filler wire arm, and sticking out...want to see if anyone has any input between their normal and lught weight offerings...
Did you not notice that there's a hole in both sides of the handle (not far from where the handle attaches to the cooler)? You could easily run a shoulder strap through those holes and it would function flawlessly...while still having the ability to use the regular handle. Sorry to say, but this is a ridiculous modification considering there's already an easy way to attach a shoulder strap.
@@30hourreview I don't plan on it. The bigger question is why would anyone recommend that someone make this modification when it's entirely unnecessary? I have to assume you didn't notice the holes.
@@BacktotheOutdoors May not work for you but it works for me also it allows you lunch box to have a hard mount option for your vehicle so hard turning and braking don't even shake my cooler
@@30hourreview You're missing the point. There's no reason to remove the existing handle in order to install a shoulder strap. Pelican purposefully put holes in the handle so you could easily route a should strap through those holes. The modification you're recommending is pointless, and actually makes the cooler less functional. Do you honestly not understand this?
@@30hourreview a couple of us at work found they have a slow reaction time and give a quick flash before darkening. We all sent ours back and are now happy with our Lincoln lenses.
Tef. Yep it is slow to respond in your video just like the one I bought and returned on Amazon. My Lincoln 4C Adjustable is still the best insert I have used.
A few things should be mentioned. First, you want to have your face shaved clean. Beard gets in the way of the halfmask and prevents a proper seal. Another thing - welding mostly produces aerosols with a bit of organic vapors, so welders' filter setup should be aerosol filters (p3, preferably) with some protection from organic vapors. Most manufacturers make these kind of filters. Cheers.
The Achilles heal of this hood , the dam retain spring is a nightmare to get out . Zero engineering just cheap never made to last plastic .. otherwise nice light good head gear hood ..
Just purchased,, installing lens is a effin nightmare ! Instructions say squeeze retain spring . Might as well say take raw diamond and cut to shape .. tried just about everything butter knife, small screw drivers sure can't do it by hand . Finally got the so called springs out by jamming screw driver in one side . This without lenses I can only imagine when I gotta change clear lens end up snapping the whole dam works . Pissed
I'm trying to bring ice, drinks , and food to the jobsite which i have to walk for a couple of minutes. I feel it's gonna cause a lot of stress on that little bit of plastic it's hanging on to and break. How has it been working on you?
I pack mine with a few big ice packs about 3 drinks my bento box and a bag of snacks every day i live on the 3rd floor of my apartments so 3 flights of stairs fully loaded to the car and then to my shop table it working like a champ the screws are still tight there's no wobble
Would have liked to see the pad in regular lighting, with more focus on the pad itself. Does the buckle hold it on, or are there snaps so you can take it off fast?
Man I bought the tefuawe hood with the gold lens, but in the shop I cant see shit, its too dark, cant even hold a pipe straight and put a tack on it. Ill go back to my sentinel a60. This lenses and chopped hoods are made for field welding, nothing else.
