Ya but the drone doesn’t record audio and my team wasn’t out filming/getting audio this was literally just me hanging out filming a little on my iPhone and some in the drone having fun, so it is what it is.
I must ask, was this shot in 24p? I’m very new to filming but these clips seem to have more of a “motion blur” affect in a way that looks very good especially for shooting moto. My clips almost seem too “crisp” which almost makes them look slower. I’m not sure if that makes any sense. But how do I achieve this look? Is it lower frame rate? Lower shutter speed?
@@XVIIsionsProductions Thanks man, could you give me a good starting point? If I’m shooting 60fps I was told my shutter should be double (120). How much lower should I go on the shutter?
@@XVIIsionsProductions that’s funny, I have a a6400 as well, I was looking to upgrade to a fx30 lol. The no view finder may take some getting used to, but I think I’ll be alright. Anyways, love the content keep ‘em coming 🤘🏼
@@bakerproductions9241 get the Osee T5+ monitor and it’s perfect. I literally never use the viewfinder when I film video. I’ll only use the viewfinder every when taking photographs.
@@bakerproductions9241 also, the FX30 is FANTASTIC. Worth every penny idgaf what anyone else has to say haha I’ve filmed with the FX3 and honestly, the FX30 is better, way sharper too thank to downsampled 6K. 🤘🏻
Great work Colton! I found your channel today. I was watching a video about cranking shutter speed while filming sports because I film motocross and I wondered how it would look. I saw a comment from you talking about how well it worked in motocross so I had to see for myself!
Sweet! Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to check out more videos on Instagram @xviisionsproductions Ya I go with higher shutter on almost all the Moto shots and I really like it. I tried doing a standard 180 shutter speed at the last race to test/reaffirm whether I always want to run a higher shutter speed. I think moving forward I’ll be using 90 degree mostly and mixing in some particular shots at a standard 180.
@@XVIIsionsProductions I just followed. Funny thing is I recognize some of the riders in your videos. I film for JMC Motorsports and their off-road team.
