The line’s known for having a lot of delayed trains because most of the line is single track and that it was a popular line when it got extended, and hence you’ll have a lot of danger signals due to the signal track line ahead not being cleared.
@@CharliesRailways they are KUV wagons I believe. However you may need to respawn a few times to actually get the Ashcott Ales livery. However you sadly can't use the class 69 with them and can only be used with certain locos i.e. class 37, 59, 66 and 73.
0:01 hi and thank you for reviewing toms pack. I am his mum and I am so pleased he did a good job. He put so much work in to the pack, those grills on the nse gave him such a headache, he is a perfectionist. Hope you all enjoy them :)
@@Rock_HBRF thank you for watching glad you liked it 😊 yeah the closure of HW came incredibly suddenly and was a bit of a shock to say the least. with HW primarily operating to Ashcott Quarry which is apparently soon to not be in game anymore it made sense to have a realistic story of an industry closing which in turn put a lot of freight companies in peril which is unfortunately what is happening IRL as well 😞 Soooo it kinda made sense to have this kind of story line considering there wasn't really one made.
I used to love this game but since change of ownership my computer just can’t run the game anymore which is a shame because I spent money on the game and now I can’t even play it as it crashes when trying to load in.
@benforester6254 you trying to play it on PC? I know at the moment you can't play it on console or tablet as far as I am aware, the crashing issue may be due to the fact the temp folder has a lot of temporary files in if you search %temp% and remove everything in that folder (if it says something about not deleting something press skip) and what that should do is clear your cashe and sometimes that helps prevent crashing.
You’re not alone. I first played the game on an old Lenovo laptop, it worked fine until roughly 1.2.8 when it just got too laggy and eventually crashed my system, same situation for my Xbox One S which is almost unheard of. So in order to play it again I had to purchase a new Lenovo Thinkpad laptop with 40GB of RAM and an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, and it operated smoothly.
Apparently its due to build quality and the fact it doesn't really have much of a storyline. Replacing it will be a completely new section of line heading up beyond Newbridge, The closure of the Ashcott Line has been debated on between the devs for quite sometime now.
@@RobertCook01 not quite sure how it's dead when the game is still up and running? With a 1.3 update in the future which will be a massive shock to the system
@@heydon2012 there wouldn't be any need for us to do it as it has already been done by Backdated Train Sim. backdatedtrainsim.weebly.com/locomotives.html

@@aleranco_black PLD is certainly the better of the two model wise I would say it is superior however that's not to say the victory works one isn't good as that especially is very nice when you have the Steam Sounds Supreme sound pack applied but out of the two definitely the PLD one is the one to go for, as well the downside with the Victory Works one is both BR and GWR versions are separate packs but with the PLD one you get all liveries bundled into one.
I know that It has been 2 years now but does this pack still work for download. I am also having trouble finding where to put it and how to put it in my files. I am not expecting for anyone to reply to this but If you do then thank you :)
Hi @AidenBrawn-ur7rl perhaps worth dropping a message to Ravenglass regarding this addon? Never know maybe they might have to odd one laying around somewhere. Not sure about Romney as that was always an unfinished WIP beta route unless of course you contact the developers about it to see what they can do, it's always worth an ask. Recently we asked the class 15 preservation group regarding there old MSTS addons for use in open rails and they have recently put them back up for re-sale so you never know 😃
Excuse me, but is there any chance to get this addon from yourself? I would like to play on the route myself, but I don't exactly know, where you've found it yourself, any help or information you could give me I would greatly appriciate.
As mentioned in the video, this is no longer obtainable. However you could try dropping an email or message to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway regarding this old MSTS route and you never know they might have copies still laying around, worth a try.
That is correct yes, the footage of that will be included in the next issue of VideoSim. Sadly 68135 and 68136 won't likely be seen around the network ever again so you was lucky to see it
@TrainSpotter_SonreYT thank you glad you enjoyed the video 😊 , if you haven't seen it yet I recommend looking at some of our VideoSim series it contains a lot of GCR footage and information about lores and stuff in there.
@@TrainSpotter_SonreYT glad you enjoyed watching videosim. Yes 0Z05 it will be happening yes at 19:00 tomorrow departing Saltmarsh TMD near Newingdon Town 😊
There is a link in the Marstem Vale Railway discord server in announcements that can be followed, it's basically like a virtual real time trains and it tells you if anything is running in and around the network and what date.
@@MavericksMainline it will be yes so its not the end for it, it has been taken off the catalog for some work to be done to it and then is going to get re-released with the NNR
I love playing GCR, my favorite locomotive is the Black 5, but recently it seems to be broken as it has no whistle sounds, I hope it gets fixed soon, second favorite will be the Class 37, as for rolling stock favorite will be the KUA wagons, they look the coolest
I have to admit living in Braintree for the last 40 years I only view "local rail journeys", but origination in Grimsby if you happen to recreate them I would view them too.
I really enjoyed this one. I liked seeing all of the freight trains go past. Some very funny moments as well with the river and the muddy field, did Dan get his wellies stuck as he was watching the aggregate 66 go past? Keep up the good work 👍
Hello @RailExplore31-vp1li thankyou once again for the kind comment, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes he did indeed as he started messing around with the muck and managed to pile up too much of it over his feet so he got stuck. Hey ho that's why you have gotta watch your footing and not muck around too much in a ploughed/muddy field lol .
Well, well. A vlog about the GCR that allows comments. Well done! You've got nothing to hide. Unlike GCR Official, which doesn't allow comments. I can guess why. Not your responsibility but as GCR Official don't allow comments I'll put this comment here. GCR is run (or was run) to a considerable extent by paid staff. Yet unlike most heritage railways they are unable to publish a calendar for the whole year showing the days when they will be operating trains. Small heritage railways can manage but a big organisation (GCR) cannot. No wonder they are in a mess.
Really enjoyed watching the vlog, it looked like a great gala despite the weather on the Sunday but at least you was prepared for it 😅 Any news about the next vlog Keep up the good work 👍
It is but I think due to Train Sim limitations the closest thing in TS classic is the 2ft narrow gauge track which isn't ideal but it's the best he can do as there is no 5 inch track/rolling stock in the game.
And glad to see that it features a locomotive that was hired in 2011 by the lavender line but the problem is that Birkenhead wasn't a pecket but a Robert Stephenson & Sons
Aw man I was looking forward to seeing some of your admin trains but fair enough about people trying to take it because at the end of the day there privately owned trains not there’s so fair enough to you and very nice video Beamon!👍🏻
They can be featured in videos from a second man perspective or just filming from stations and things like they are in VideoSim just not driving because of all the admin panel and things. But yeah thank you glad you enjoyed the video 😃
