Game looks interesting and I've backed y'all every time in the past, but its such a huge jump in price that I am really on the fence for this one. Might go for the PnP level, hope it goes well!
Hey there, first of all thanks for your support in the past and your comment! We are trying to bring Yield to retail in a reduced version at a better price point. The version you can pledge for on Kickstarter is a deluxified copy. The PnP might be a good choice to see if the game is for you. Also, please spend your hard earned money carefully. Cheers
Hello i just recently buy and playing hidden leaders. My group love it soooo much. It's simple yet so many way to play the game. Replayability is really high. Since i love it so much after first play, i wonder where i can buy the expansion. It turns out it's not sold on retail yet right? So it's only on kickstarter? Oh and also the art is sooooo gooooddd. Freaking love it so much
Hi there, loving the game! A quick question about the Emporer's Best Friend. If at game end you have both Emporer's Best Friend and the Emporer in your party and the winning faction is Undead, does the Emporer's Best Friend count as two Undead heroes or three?
I'm sorry to say that I wasn't able to contribute to the initial Kickstarter, but definitely put in a late pledge! This looks like a great game, and I love when developers but some story/lore tidbits into their games like this :)
Congratulations for achieving all 18 stretch goals! The goals look really promising and enjoyable :) My friend backed the campagne for me, so i can't comment on Kickstarter, but i have a question about the queens: On first thought, it seems quite strange that all three of them are allied with their opposite faction. For example, the Queen of the Wild, which counts as two of the winning faction, as long as she is in the party of Lemron or Myrad, has the empire's symbole on her card. Same goes for the other queens. Is that so, because they can still count as one normal hero in these allied factions? (Queen of the Wild is in the winning red faction, so still counts as one?)
Hey, thanks for asking! So the reason behind it is a game mechanic one: For example the Wild queen has two Green children. If she would be Green too, she would be "+3" for them. By having the opposite symbol she is useful for all players as a normal hero, and as +2 for her children (who can never win with Red) Story reason is this: If the Queen is NOT with her children (because she is a captive) having her benefits her worst enemy. I hope that makes sense!
I fell in love with the simpleness and artwork of this game :) One question: The last tie breaker to victory is by comparing the leaders' numbers. Was there a reason why they are numbered the way they are, or are they numbered just randomly?
Hey Jan, thx for your feedback! We have numbered them according to their slightly different win rate (%). So the lowest numbered Leader is the one which won most often. Hope this helped
Wasn't planning on backing another Kickstarter so soon, but this one looks too interesting to pass up. Best of luck on this campaign, can't wait to see any extras if any.
Extremely interested in this game. That art is gorgeous and the gameplay seems fun! Best of luck during the campaign :) Please, tell me you are considering or looking into custom sleeves for the cards ;)
Hey Steven, thank you for the feedback! If you want to play it upfront, you can play it on Tabletopia or TableTopSimulator either with your friends or on a weekly basis directly with us :-) Our artist is Satoshi Matsuura, make sure to check him out
Haha, thx for the laugh :-D A friend of ours did this voiceover. There will be a professional one at the end I promise. I am sure he will be flattered by the comparison.
