These infinity’s do have a 20 gallon fuel tank, you need to clean the sending units in the tank. There’s one on the driver side and the other one on the passenger side. I have the same issue, I filled up this week and only took 12 gallons to fill up but the week before it took 19 to fill up from empty.
You gotta reset the maintenance schedule in the system to get the tire rotation warning to go off. It's under the trip button menu. It's based on mileage like the oil change. I have a 2008 Fx45 btw.
This one’s lookin real nice. I’ve been following since the first fx and to see that you kept going with the fx’s and didn’t give up makes me feel good that someone appreciates these like I do and a lot of other fx owners as well. Had my '03 model for 10 months today. I've only let it get down to a quarter tank twice. It doesn't feel like so bad only putting $30 or $40 in at a time but prices keep going up. $3.69 yesterday (way down south). I also tend to refuel at the same spot where I get discount points. Great car so far. No issues. I've put a little of 11k miles on it. Had just over 123k when purchased. I could use some front struts. Hopefully soon. Best wishes, bro.
I’m in the market for an fx35 or 37/ qx70. Found several options but thus far the sellers seem to be shady in withholding things I’ve found during inspection or carfax showing altered mileage. Any tips on what is prone to fail on these fx models? When I finally find one I’ll immediately do a tune up and change the fluids on the transmission, motor oil, and possibly differential fluids.
I can't speak on any of those as I've never had one. How is it possible to turn back the odometer? I'd just say keep doing your research and be patient. I got lucky finding mine on Craigslist. It was a one owner who was a retired doctor. Snapped it up in less than 24 hrs after being posted. Paid $5250.
@@hhova29 these cars really are tanks. I would just say do the basic checks, the trans and motor. Everything else is gonna be small maintenance repairs because it's older model cars.
Seems risky to buy an older vehicle w high miles like that. Though from testimony of comments I guess they r worth it. What are things to look for in a fox with high miles ?
Transmission is shifting good, engine doesn't have a rough idle, and check Carfax, and see maintenance reports. See where it was owned, if it was just highway mileage then it's fine, if it was in the city, going over potholes and day to day issues driving in a big city. Might wanna think about it

Some sellers on market place don’t wish to share the vin which is why I don’t like that platform for all scams that post. Found one with love miles an 08 but she’s had multiple owners throughout the years and mainly in one region for lease etc. seems like she failed inspection a yr ago/ 1200 miles ago, then passed. Seller claims it was an 02 sensor. Still interested in looking at it but idk.
I do get the same light sometimes. When I got my TPMS and 2 tires replaced at my local shop, the mechanic told me it's a temperature thing and I don't have to worry about it. The pressure in the FX tires will increase or decrease 2 psi during the first 20 to 25 minutes you drive, depending on the air temperature outside. My TPMS fluctuates daily. The light comes and goes away for me.
Hay jay am a Infiniti fan like you have 3 Infiniti one fx45 give you a heads up fx 45 the flex plate is discontinued call all the dealer true America know one have them had to by of ebay all the way Arizona was the last one i got with the part number for my car. So the car in the shop now they change it but the crankshafts code keep popping up will keep you posted an let you know how it goes .if you could upgrade to a newer model like 2012 will be good so you get the parts you need so if you could get a sale before you get that problem like me sell an upgrade so we link up soon .send me your number so we keep intouch
Nahh it doesn't have aux. I never had any problems with my transmission, but a car with that much mileage, check to see how it shifts and how it idles.
I bought a fx35 2003 for 4000 in California with 149000 miles on it live it to death drive in cross country to Dallas Atlanta South Carolina then Tampa no issues at all. All I changed was one coil and catalytic converters that I ordered brand new from Canada for 275 with shipping
2.89 for me. I mostly put premium gas for my FX45. I moved down south of the country from California where gas to fill up is about 7.00 a gallon. I think the FX no matter what even in 2023, hasn’t given me any problems at all, it’s still a solid car.
Yeah, man, I'd say around 2019 when I lived in Cali my fuel gauge wasn't reading right probably due to the age of the car it was 2003. Had my previous mechanic repair the fuel pumps, and it was all good until the gas stations that I used to go to fill up were sometimes out of 93 gas. It always felt like I used to fill up the FX with water instead of gas, it was hit or miss and I would barely drive it cause I don't wanna fuck up the motor, it's literally under 80K miles. Plus the high gas prices on top of that, $30 I remember would barely move the gas needle up lol. Now I drive the hell out of it on open roads and the car drives so much better where I live now after putting in new tires and brakes.

That version of the FX45 is super special, it has electric folding mirrors. It is difficult to get that version with that system... I have only seen one on RU-vid and now it is... not even this version appears on Google. .... you found gold
I have one of the last 2008 FX 45s built, fully loaded in that copper paint with chocolate leather and black interior- 193K miles still in above average condition... i want to sell it but its been such a reliable vehicle.

I wish it was the fx 35 you went for but in any ways you will be fine once again just try see if you can work with the 2006/ 7 of the fx 35 you will love it again the v8 engine which is fx 45 sucks
