If "good men" were to stand up for women instead of defending the very "bad men" they claim to despise, there would be no "bad men" and the complaints about "bad men" would eventually stop. I get called gay because I dress like a guy with minimal cleavage or skin. My friend unalived herself because she got SA'd by her COUSIN and nobody believed her which killed me inside and made me flinch every time anybody raised their hands. (Still can't high five people). I miss her every. Single. Day. Nobody should have to go through that. Before dressing down, I was harassed several times and laughed at as grown men discussed my outfits thinking I couldn't hear them with my headphones on. I was eleven.

I was SA a year and a half ago by my 26 year old half brother. I was 13. And yes I know that not all men will hurt me but I still get panic attacks from it and i still feel every touch from that night and I still feel my heart breaking because my half brother was supposed to protect not hurt me. Everything was ripped away from me that night and to hear other women get SA is just sad to think this is the world that we live in. I hate that racism is a REAL thing but people ruined it like they ruin everything else. They joke about it. What I mean is, whenever I’m doing something like I was playing roblox and I got someone and they got super angry at me and said “it’s because I’m black right?” (They had a white avatar) or people will think I hate them because they’re gay, lesbian or black etc… I don’t like you because of your personality. I don’t care if your lgbtq or what your skin color is. I like you for your PERSONALITY.
That plot line in Law School made me cry so much... that scene when she’s finally able to speak up in court. It was more than two years ago, but I still remember how I audibly cheered. I started crying, smiling, and shouting because of how proud I was of a literal fictional character. Great edit.
