Takes government contracts to assist in creating tax laws that make multinationals pay their fair share, signs confidentiality agreements, and then sells that information to get clients. refuses to name all the PwC partners implicated in the tax leak scandal so criminal penalties can be considered to deal with what is theft and deception from Australian taxpayers. PWC should be banned from carrying out tax work and government consultancy in Australia.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Commission, they use information from government contracts to help their other clients dodge tax in order to make even more money. So it seems like they are happy to break laws and betray trust for a quick buck. Who would have thought that an international consultancy firm would be so willing to engage in nefarious behaviour for profit?
PWC use confidential information they receive from one client to benefit another client like leaking Australian government plans to reduce multinational tax avoidance to tech clients. Ethics 101.
