Agreed. I will have to ask one of my friends to introduce me to /mlp/. I'm not currently on the board. There were some things I understood the reference to at Mare Fair but some stuff went over my head. But overall it was the best convention I have been to so far.
I’m glad you had a positive experience. I’m grateful you didn’t experience the same experience I did. I don’t even know what to do with additional footage I have at this point. Did you go to mare day? That was really a beautiful experience too. Great concert footage btw. 😊
@@AbilityToBeAwesome Just curious, what negative experiences did you have this time around? I had a few minor qualms with Mare Fair 2, but I had fun overall. Then again, I was only around for about half of the con due to overlapping stuff I also wanted to do that weekend, so I may have missed important things.
I didn't see anything out in the open related to Nazi stuff. There were some Aryanne plush that I did see but overall I had a great time and will be going back.
@@CRPony2-zk4fn Oh okay good to know there wasn’t much of that going on inside in the con, marefair posted a statement saying that the bad stuff happened outside the con so it wasn’t an issue they could do much about although they are still looking into it.
This video was so neat! I'm so glad I got to experience it even secondhand since I wasn't able to make the hikes themselves. It looked like an amazing time and some beautiful scenery. I also love being able to see all my friend's faces and hear their voices to remember everyone. You were awesome to hang out with and talk to, Cathode. Can't wait to hang out at a future event! /)
Ahhh!! Thank you so much for being one of the awesome people to record this event. I’m so glad I’ll be able to rewatch it and remember how cool this trip was if I ever get fuzzy on the details!! 🦋💛
I definitely need to learn how to slow down when I play live lol, it's definitely out of my comfort zone and I speed up when I'm nervous. Thanks for recording, helps me review and identify how I can do better.
It's always good to seek improvement, but don't lose sight of how absolutely solid this performance already is. Good work EK and I'm excited to see your next con set!
Wow that monitor is nice, try to make it last by using it at low contrast and stuff , i would be freaking out if i got my hands on a new crt :o enjoy man
Image quality looks great. I would have checked the insides before turning it on though. Especially make sure the capacitors are not leaking. 2004 was around the time of the capacitor plague.
I will have to check the capacitors. I didn't think about that. I also want to see if there is a sharpness adjustment inside. On my 20" Dell CRT it had a sharpness adjustment when you take off the rear housing.
@@CRPony2-zk4fn Just be careful if you do check the caps. Some of them can be pretty beefy on the volts side and can give a nasty shock. Also working around a CRT etc has a lot of electricity even after the monitor is un-plugged.
cool find bro! very nice! the only new crt monitor ive ever seen was the one that i got for christmas with the family pc! it was a dell dimension 2300 i think we got it for christmas in like 02-03 maybe? it was when low spec desktops were 1000$ and you could actually call dell and order it! i think my uncle still has that computer cuz we gave it to him years ago! i wonder if it still works!
